Where i need to be part 14
We ran up the stairs cracking up and ignoring the stares from
the rest of the family. Back home i didn't have any girlfriends
just Brandon so it was nice to have a female companion for
once.
While i showered Lacy looked through my clothes.
When i came back in atheltic shorts and an oversized tee shirt, my
pre date outfit, Lacy had my duffel opened wide and there were
clothes everywhere. Some i didn't even recognize. This should
be interesting i thought to myself.
"Half this stuff Graddaddy won't let you out of the house
in! He's against the whole
wearing-pants-on-a-date-thing..... soooo i looked though your
mama's closet because she was about your size so i've heard
when she left! and look what i found!" Lacy said holing up a
gorgeous dress. It was a high necked short-sleeved dress that ended
mid thigh.It was white with black lace covering it. It
was gorgeous. "And! you can wear these heels! They wear your
mamas too.They'll make your legs look as you yankees put it,
Hawt!"
I laughed and tried the outfit on. I looked in the mirror. Wowza.
For once in my life, i looked like a knockout!
Lacy straighted my hair and did my makeup. I put the heels on and
hugged her goodbye.
"Good Luck!" she said beaming.
"Thanks Lace! Ask Grandma if you can sleep over tonight
okay?" I called behind running out the door. At that
exact moment Brandon walked out too. He had a black button down on
tucked into black pants and a red tie. His dark brown hair looked
almost black and his gray eyes shown as he looked me up and
down.
"Wow Scar you look- wow" he said.
"Thanks but i think you should be complimenting your date
tonight." i said laughing. He chuckled and we descended the
stairs.
Luke was waiting for me in a suit and tie. "Hey beautiful.
" he said and wrapped his arm around my waist.
"Have her home by 12 you here me son? said my grandpa sounding
stern.
"Yessir." replied Luke
"Alright have fun." He said.
I ran up to him and kissed his cheek. He hugged me and i kissed and
hugged my grandma goodbye aswell. As soon as i was out of their
arms Luke's arm slithered his way around my waist yet again. We
made polite conversation to the car and he opened the door of his
black Volvo for me. We drove back into town.
