Chapter 20
Kacie looked at me, then at Justin, and slapped him across the face.She used the classic "He came on to me" excuse. Justin just sat there holding his hand to his cheek and staring at me. I was so angry, how could they do this to me!? I trusted both of them, and they betrayed me.
"Well,Justin, are you going to say anything or are you just going to stare at me like an idiot!?"I practically screamed at him. At this point, the whole courtyard was looking at us. Some kids had their cell phones out to video tape, but I didn't care.
"Mickie...I am so sorry...",Justin managed to say.
"You're only sorry because I caught you!That's why you're apologizing to me! Not because you're genuinally sorry, but because you are sorry that I caught you sneaking around with my best friend!" I was furious now.
"Mickie...I....I am so sorry. I love you,please forgive me." That made me burst.
"YOU ARE NOT SORRY! I HATE YOU I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU! YOU HURT ME AND BETRAYED MY TRUST AND I WILL NEVER TRUST YOU OR TALK TO YOU AGAIN! WE ARE OVER! ", I finally shouted at him. Boy did that feel good.
"AND AS FOR YOU! MY SUPPOSEDLY 'BEST FRIEND'! IT IS GOING TO TAKE ME A WHILE TO FORGIVE YOU,SO KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND DON'T BOTHER ME TIL' AT LEAST JANUARY!"It was November now, so that should give me time to cool off. I ran out of the courtyard,crying and furious, and ran into Tyler's arms. I just cried for 20 minutes on his shoulder and then the bell rang. Free period was last period, so Tyler drove me home. He invited me over, but I was exausted and had a bad day, so I just felt like going home. When I got home I did my homework and then just watched movies until dinner. After dinner, I showered and then went to bed. After my shower, I looked at my phone.
