My New Start In Cali  (1)
So i'm about 4'11 which is pretty short considering i'm a sophmore.  My name is Baylie Johnson, I have long brown hair with blonde highlights.  Bright blue eyes and some really white straight teeth.  & this is how my life completley changed. When I was 8 my dad & I were in the car going to get ice cream, when a drunk driver pulled out in front of us.  The airbag was supposed to kill me that day, but somehow my dad punched the airbag and saved my life.  Unfortunatley my dad went brain dead, from head trauma in the ambulance, my mom was the one who had to decide whether or not to keep him on life support or not.  A week later, she decided to pull the plug, i never really forgave her for that, but i never told her.  Well now i'm 15 soon to be 16 & everything's changed since then.  My mom's met a new guy named Scott, and she married him. Oh, and may i mention he also has 3 kids.  Kadence (8)  Carson (13) and Jake, who's my age.  3 day's ago i moved into his massive California Mansion.  There still on their honeymoon though.  I'm the only person that stay's on the 3rd story, along with 2 bathroom's and the only guest room.  I'm very athletic, I do   well I did, School cheerleading, Competition Cheerleading, Dance, Gymnastic's, and Soccer.  Don't get me wrong though, i'm not a BIG girly-girl, those sports take just as much physical ability as anyyyy other.  We just moved in, so i don't know many people but, there's only one week until school start's so that won't last for long.    


So i went into the sunroom to sit & read, when the doorbell rang.  I opened the door & to my suprise, there was a Tall, tan, brown-shaggy-haired guy, who didn't seem much older then me.
"Hi, you must be Baylie, I'm Jake's bestfriend, Tyler."
"hey, umm, yeah i'm Baylie & i've heard a lot about you."
"Is Jake here?"
"yeah, in the living room"
I turned around, and he followed but you could tell that he had been here a lot because he knew where everything was.
"Hey Jake, my parent's are going on a 2 week cruise, and they don't want me to miss my first week of school, so can I stay with you, there leaving today?"
"Yeah man, you can stay in the 3rd story guest room, but you won't be alone, because Baylie stay's up there to."
"okayy man thanks."

WHAT! i thought, it's my first week here, and now i have to share a floor with a bone-head, self-absorbed guy, who looked like he was taken off the Jersey Shore. Great, i thought. Just great.
