Last night was the best;
We were catching lightning bugs,
then I started to get cold
We were sitting together
one arm around my waist,
fingers entwined.
There was music playing, and all of
our friends around us.
But for those few moments, all of that faded
away.
We were watching the stars, and that's when you whispered
"I love you"
Then, you kissed me more
passionately than ever before.
