“Alright. So you know about the dinner, you were kinda there. After on the ride home, I didn’t think there was any way he could be any more perfect, if that makes any sense at all.” My words trip out of my mouth landing in what would be a pile.

            “Oh lala. Details hunny details.” Shane says into the phone.

            “Well he wants to go to the party as my date.” I hold my breath waiting for Shane’s response. In 5…4…3…2…1 and

            “OH MY GUCCI! Okay so we are going to take you shopping, then bringing you in for a haircut, then doing your nails, and THEN, you are going to the party. Now continue.” He squeaks into the phone.

            Giggling I continue “Well ya. We just played 20 questions, which turned into more like 2 questions, but it was really just a fun ride home. Now here’s the great part…” I pause messing with my best friends.

            “AND!” this time Max answering.

            “He might have sort have kissed my cheek” I squeal out in less than a breath.

            “For the love of Abercrombie Gods!” Shane yells into the receiver causing me to pull my cell away from my ear. “You are going to get your butt to the mall now. Just go. We’ll meet you at…. Hollister? They have cute bathing suits…” he says leading off.

            Quickly I agree and get dressed in an outfit I’m sure Shane would approve of, a striped blazer, shorts, tank, and a pair of vans.  Fixing my hair and putting on a dash of makeup so I look awake I dash down the stairs to the art studio. Knocking Aunt Kylie opens the door.

            “Good morning sweetie. How was your run?” She says not looking up from her latest work. Her face
smeared lightly in the charcoal that she has been using.

            “It was great. I was just heading out with Max and Shane to go to the mall, shopping for Trish’s party.”

            “Ahhh here lemme get you some money.” She says wiping her charcoal covered hand on her face only increasing the lines.

            “No, No Aunt Kylie. I’m fine.” I say chasing her out of the room.

            “No sweetie I insist. Lord knows those boys are going to make you shop.” She says a smile lighting up her face as she hands me a few bills. Looking down I see 3 hundred dollar bills, and I immediately put them back in her hands.            

            “No way am I taking that.” I say putting up a fight.

            “Oh yes you are. Stop arguing.” She says putting it back in my hands and heading back to her studio leaving me with my mouth slightly open.

            I pack my phone and new money into my purse and head out to the car unlocking it as I walk. Jumping in I start my way to the mall, Starry Eyed by Ellie Goulding playing through the speakers from my iPod. Smiling I pull into the parking lot, grab my purse, get out of and lock the car, and make my way to the mall.

            The giant glass doors pull open presenting our massive mall. Store after store lining the white marble tiles and while walls all sparkling under the glass ceiling. Making my way to the elevator I spot the only person right now who could ruin my mood. Scarlet was making her way to the Victoria’s Secret across the way. Her dyed strawberry blonde hair flowing behind her hiding the back of a too short dress and above too-high high heals. I quickly walk to the silver glass elevator-pressing floor 3 quickly jittery to make my way to Max and Shane. I can hear the music and smell the perfume before Hollister is even in my sight. One of my favorite stores; however the music, darkness, and smell, is enough to make even the craziest Hollister junkie have a headache. The perky girl greets me in the front of the store and I spot Max and Shane sitting on the chairs put out most likely for the fathers and boyfriends dragged to the store. They both stand up and give me hugs.
