Just Love - - - Chapter One :)

     I took a step inside my new house on the farm. There is so much room for the horses to run. The barn is just down the dirt road a little bit. "Oh wow this is a beautiful house. Uncle Rick you re-did all of this?", I say to my Uncle Rick who completely did this whole house over. It used to be my grandparents’ house, but they live in assisted living now. And my Uncle Rick and Aunt May are moving to Florida.
     Uncle Rick walked in right behind me into the living room. "Oh thanks Marty, yeah I did all this. After your gramp and gram moved into the assisted living place, I thought it could use some sprucing up. I mean it smelled like old people and the rugs of 25 years just had to go. But it's all yours. I have to catch a flight and pick up May at the school so we can catch our flight in time. She's all yours", as he drops the key and the spare keys into Marty's hand. "You should probably go help your brothers with the trailers. I fed Nash, Daisy, Macy, Jumper, Bailey and Snickers in the mornin' around 6, but they were all low on water, but I was running late, do you mind just adding water to the water troughs? They are all in their pasture. Remember, there are three more pastures, I don't think you will need them, they are huge, but if you wanted to split up the mares and males you can. I know that Quincy is pregnant. Well I should go. And I re-did the barn too, there is one extra stall for hay and stuff. Bye Marty, remember, if you ever need anything please call, whether it's college money or bail out money, we are happy to help" He laughs and gives her a big bear hug. He looks at his watch once more and walks out the door.
     We started unpacking the horse trailer, we took the horses and put them into the barn just to get them used to it while we feed them. Then we let them run free in the pastures and meet with each other. I am so excited to see my room and unpack.
     When you walk in the front door of the house, you are in the gorgeous hard-wood floor living room and the dining room is right there too. Then the kitchen is off of the living room and dining room and has a breakfast bar. The house looks like it was on the show 'Extreme Home Improvement'. I requested a room with my own bathroom because I am the only girl. I walked in my room and it was huge. I started unpacking immediately.
Seth walked in my new room and admired the deck off of my room with sliding glass doors. "Lucky. My room is pretty cool too though. But I came in to ask if you got all of your boxes. I am missing one and I was wondering if it was put in here by mistake."
     I laughed and said, "Uhh yeah I think I saw an unfamiliar box over there beside the bed. Will you help me with the mattress? It's so heavy."
     Seth smiles and says, "Yeah sure. hang on lemme just get these boxes out of the way. You have so much crap." he laughs, " Well at least you are organized." He looks at the marked boxes that say 'clothes', 'pictures', etc. We lift the mattress onto the bed. Then Seth leaves with the missing box and goes to finish unpacking. I was left alone in my own little world to think about the past couple months, my parents were amazing people. I miss them so much. Perry helps me with that a lot. He comforts me and makes me feel whole again. I suddenly remember that I have to call the high school to make sure they got our school forms. They start school in a little over two weeks. New school, new beginning, new friends, new house, new everything.
     About 4 and half hours later I am almost done getting the bigger things into my room like my dresser and the huge vanity mirror that goes on top of it. I put my new white, almost transparent curtains up that cover the sliding glass doors. Finally I get to the bathroom and put all of my toiletries away and towels and shampoo and conditioner. My clothes are next, but that doesn't take long, all I has to do is put them away. I make my bed and decide to go to bed, I am exhausted from driving all night and early in the morning. I drove the horse trailer up here with Seth. It hooks right on my orange Jeep Wrangler.
