Chapter 6
Emily's P.O.V
"Guys," I said at the end of the year, at school.
"I'm going to miss you all, it's been a wonderful year with you guys."
I got out a grey, plastic bag.
"I've decided to make Christmas cards for all of you. Each has a paragraph about how amazing you are. I'm really sorry, Tahlia, but I didn't have any envelopes or Christmas cards left, so I couldn't make one for you." I winked at Britney and Lyla.
Tahlia's P.O.V
I blinked back tears when Emily said that.
She obviously didn't care a single thing about me, she doesn't know the pain and tears I'm struggling to hide.
But I was happy that Emily was moving.
It'd be easier for me now - to kick out Lyla and Britney only.
I had to act innocent - an angel.
Then the school staff would like me AND believe me, and I can get them suspended. Forever.
I was trying to come up with a plan, but then Emily left the classroom.
She was never going to come back to this school, ever.
"Lyla, now you can move up next to Britney, and Tahlia can fit in just right there," the teacher said. "Okay, Tahlia, you can get off the spare table and seat. You can sit next to Ashleigh. I'll help you move your books and things to the other table."
I shivered when she said 'Ashleigh'.
But I knew it was a different Ashleigh.
Then I had a brainwave.
I had a plan. I knew how to get Lyla and Britney out of this school.
