Chapter 31
Fergie's P.O.V
I watched Will's house get smaller and smaller, until it vanished from sight. I couldn't get Will out of my mind. No matter how hard I tried, I could still see his cute face.
I sighed and ran my fingers through my hair, causing it to get alll messy.
I thought about how Will looked when Tab called his name before. He was all sweaty, and he looked like he was in pain. Is he okay? Is he sick? Does he need help?
I found myself asking multiple questions like this, but none of them had answers.
"Ferg, you're home." Taboo's voice snapped me back to earth.
"Do you need help with your stuff?"
I shook my head and smiled, "No, I'm good. But thanks for the ride."
"Anytime Ferg, just give us a call fi you need anything." Jaymie sang.
I chuckled and got of the car, got my bags and waved to Tab and Jaymie as the drove away.
As soon as they were out of sight, my fake smile vanished and I went back to being my mopy self.
I sighed and dragged my bags behind me to my front door, then fumbled with my keys.
"Come on!.." I angrily grumbled to myself, and finally found the right one.
I shoved it into the key hole and went to unlock it, but to my surprise, it was already unlocked.
I felt my heart skip a beat. Why was my door unlocked? I haven't been home in a month.
I slowly turned the doorknob and pushed open the door. The lobby of my huge house was empty, so I dragged all my bags inside and shut the door.
I stayed put for a minute, listening to see if I could hear anything, or anyone, in the house.
It was silent, then I heard something, but I couldn't quiet make it out.
I felt my heart start to race, I was scared. I'm all alone, possibly with some criminal in my house.
I didn't know what to do, so I quickly ran to my kitchen and got a steak knife.
My mom always told me when I was little, if you're ever home alone and you don't feel safe, have a knife close by.
Well this seemed like the perfect time to have one.
I crept around my house, following the sound of the noise, which grew louder as I got closer.
It was coming from my bedroom, and I could regconize the sound. My TV was on.
"The f**k.." I whispered, since my bedroom door was open.
Well, I had to face what was inside sooner or later, so I took a deep breath and turned the corner to see who the hell was in my house.
And guess what I saw? Josh, laying in bed in only his boxers. He had the tv romote in one hand, and a beer in the other.
And then there was me, holding a knife in my hand like physco murderer.
He looked at me, then saw the knife, "What exactly were you planning to do with that?"
"You scared the crap out of me! I didn't think you would be home, I thought you were some theif!"
He didn't show one ounce of emotion, "Well, together or not, this is my house too." He explained, then went back to the TV.
Wait, together or not? What does that mean?
"W-What?.." I asked nervously.
This time he didn't look at me, he just repeated himself.
"I said, together or not, this is my house too."
I felt tears rush to my eyes immediately, but I pushed them back.
"T-Together or not?.." I asked, my voice a little shaky.
He glanced at me again, and must of saw the fear in my eyes. He sighed and got up, then walked over to me. I looked up at him, since he towered over me.
'Put it this way Stacy.. The best thing you could do with thaat knife right now, would be to cut out my heart. It already stopped beating."
Hearing him say that, made me feel awful. it felt like someone had stabbed me through the stomach.
"..I-I..J-Josh.." I tried to string a sentence together, but it wasn't working out well.
"Whatever Stacy." He said, pushing past me.
I didn't know what to do, but I didn't want him to leave.
"Will's the father!" I blurted out before I could stop myself.
He froze dead in tracks, while I stood there covering my mouth like an idiot.
Why did I say that?! Out of all things to say, I say that?!
"..Will?... Will's the father?" he asked, I could hear the anger in his voice.
"J-Josh you don't understand.."
"You cheat on me with Will! Your f**king brother Stacy!!" he yelled.
Tears were dripping down my face by now, "Josh it was an accident!.. We were drunk at the superbowl, I-I'm sorry!.." I cried.
"He's a f**king dead man walking." he mumbled, then started down the stairs.
My eyes widened, "Josh no! It's not his fault!" I shouted, following him.
"Just go upstairs Stacy, I'll be back later."
"JOSH NO!" I screamed, blocking him from the door.
"Move Stacy. Now."
"No! Josh please, I'm begging you! Just leave him alone!"
Just then, the doorbell rang. I glanced out the window, and felt my heart jump into my throat.
Perfect timing Will, just perfect.
