Chapter 3
Of coarse I get home that night and get practically questioned on about everythign by mom.. I just shake my head to everythign she says now.. It makes life so easier. Ugh I cannot get Mark out of my mind! Great! Its been one day and I am already crushing on a guy that will never like me!.. I finally get away from the questioning and head for my room! The first thing I do is call Amber. She was so excitied to hear my voice.. I havent talked to her in over a week. life has been so stressful latey with the move and everything. We talked about how much we miss each other and how school went down. She said it wasnt the same without me, I hear Jenni in the backround yell "I miss you Kenz! so so much". If I didnt move i would have been there to doing home work and swapping todays drama with "The Girls" but of of coarse nothing goes right in my life. So now I'm stuck with no friends and nothing to do. I decied 'd wait to tell them about mark.. you know? Until I know more about him..even tho i totally doubt we would ever talk again..I'm not really the type of girl who's into the Jock type. They tend to be a bit to full of themselves. I hung us with the girls and looked out my window. I looked down the street and there was a sign the pointed to a park. I thought it would be good to get outta the house so I grabbed a book and headed out. "Mom, I'm going to the park! Be back later" "Okie dokie Sweetie 6:30 is dinner!". I went around the corner and was surprised to Mark sitting on the bench wih a book of his own.. He looked up with his gorgeous eyes and waved! I was so stunned... he tapped the bench next to him. So i walked over and sat done. (Mark) "Whatcha reading?" (Me) "umh To Kill a Mocking Bird! how bout you?" (Mark) "The outsiders..Its a short book.. but one of my favs"
We continued our conversation until I remmeber that mom was home exspecting me for dinner. On my way home all I thought about was Mark.. I actually think this might workout!
[Should i continue this story?] Any suggestions? Comments? favs?

They weren't in it for the glamour of heroics. They didn't need to die that day. They had a home to return to, a life still unlived. But they sacrificed it all to go back and save the lives of others. That is was truly makes a hero. To those who made the sacrifice, to those who rose to the occasion for others, there is no one I respect more. To those who had family not return that day, and to those who are still grieving, I send my greatest condolences. I will never forget the heroes of 9/11. RIP
(technically not still 9/11, but i didn't have an opportunity to get on prior to now)
