~I went to a party, and I remembered everything you said. You told me not to drink and drive so I had a Sprite instead. I felt so proud of myself, the way you said I would. That I chose not to drink and drive. Even though my friends said I should. I knew I had made a healthy choice, and I knew it was right. As the party finally ended and everyone drove out of sight. I got into my car, sure to be home in one piece. I never knew what was coming, and what I expected the least. Now, I am lying on the pavement, and I can hear the policeman say: "The kid that caused the wreck was drunk." His voice seemed so far away. My blood lay all around me. As I try so hard not to cry. I hear the paramedic say: "This girl is going to die." I am sure the guy had no idea, while he was flying high, that because he chose to drink and drive that now, i am gonna have to die. So why do people do it...knowing that is it going to ruin lives? Now the pain is cutting me like one hundred thousand knives. Tell sister not to be afraid, tell Daddy to be brave, and when I go to heaven, put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave. Someone shoulda have taught him it was wrong to drink and drive. Maybe if his parents had, I would still be alive. My breath is getting shorter now, I am getting really scared. These are my final moments, and I am so unprepared. I wish that you could hold me, as I ly here and die. I wish that I could tell you that "I Love You!" and "Good-Bye"~
