@OreoLover yeah i guess there are better ways to deal with stuff but it's different for every person. I do it because it takes my mind off of things and it helps in a way. I know it's wrong but when you start and keep going at it, it's harder to stop. So there. That's why I do it. reply

I cut.. not proud but i do. The reason i do it is because. I feel like the reasons i cry are stupid. If i cut then i have a real reason to cry. Also just feeling the pain of a cut hurting more then the problems that are hurting me even for a second is just a tension reliever. You know what i mean? reply

i've never done it and i never would, but i think people do it because when they see the blood, it releases their tension, anger, and sadness, and it's like a visual to show them that the pain is dripping away and that the pain is leaving. So in a way, i guess it does relax them, but if you ever meet anyone who has the habit, there are always better solutions than harming yourself. reply
