We kept on kissing. Then the doctor came in to check on him. He asked me to leave the room so I just walked out of the room and stood against the wall. Then I heard a scream from the room next to his so I took a peek in. I couldn't believe it. It was my best friend Jenna! She was inn the room screaming with pain. I ran into her room and said," Jenna! What's wrong bestie?" She screamed, " I just got shot in the leg through the window and it really hurts! Get me help!" We sat there crying. Then the doctor came in. He asked what color cast Jake wanted. He said red and the put the cast on him and gave him crutches. They still needed to do surgery on his brain still so I had to leave. I waited in the waiting room for 4 and a half hours. When the doctor said I could come visit him he was not awake yet. I took his hand and held it. Then I took a seat next to him on the bed. His mom came in crying. She was scared because apperently the doctor told her he could not make it. Then I heard the door open. I knew it wasn't the doctor or he would say something. It was Matt!! With two cops. He had handcuffs on his hands. He didn't look to happy, but since Jake wasn't awake yet Matt left a note on his lap. When they left I read it. It said, " Dear, Jake. I'm sorry what I did. I got a lot out of control. You can have Stephanie, because I don't deserve anyone. Sorry again.

" But baby I need you." I said, " I can't probably tomorrow." He never replied. It was lunch time so I made theboys mac-a-roni
and cheese. Then the phone rang. I answered and it was Mrs. Shopes saying," Jake is hurt badly and i'm going over there and if you could let the dog out?" I said," Sure." When the babysitter got here I asked her," If she coud drop me of at the hospital?" She said," Sure." She dropped me off and ran into Jake's room. He was having a sesor when I walked in. I yelled, " HELP! I NEED HELP!!!!" Tons of nurses and doctors ran in. They camed him down and did a cat scan. Thay saw that his left leg was broke and his brain was smashed again. I started to cry when I heard the news. Jake was just ooking at me watching me crying. I know it hurt him to see me cry. Then he said, " Come here baby. Everything's going to be ok." " Ok. We wil come pick you up at 8 and drop you off back at home then take the next flight." My mom said. I turned over to look at the clock and it read 6:30 and I was starving, but 10 mins later the nurse brought in chicken nuggets with fries. Of course what I eat every night. I got a text message so I put my food down and turned to grab my phone. It was Jake!! He said," Guess what. I'm in the room next to you." I texted him back and said," Well hurry up and get in here."

I never heard back from himm or saw him, but it was 11 at night so I went to bed. In the morning my parents came in and I was ready to go. " We have to do surgery to get the bullet out of his brain. This is a dangerous surgery but, it would be good for him and save his life." "Yes!!" She said yes. I invited Maddie, Haley, Jenna, and Danielle to come along with me. my mom drove us there and just gues who was there. Yes it was me enemie Katilen! OH MY GOSH!!! It was my dad!! He was soo embarrising! All the boys started laughing and everyone started to stare. Me and Haley got out of the pool and sat by my step mother. She was embarresed too. When my dad got out me and Haley walked away like we didn't know him. We got back in the water and the boys swam back over. Sam and Haley got out together to go get something to eat and I was lefted with the rest of the boys. They decided to have swim races. There I am sitting on my front porch sooo excited for the party we were having tonight at the Country Club. Then a car pulled into my driveway. I couldn't believe it! It was my bestfriend Haley!!!! She had just came back from Flordia from visiting her grandma. I ran up to her and gave her a HUGE hug. I forgot that she ws invited to the party too, and she was sleeping over tonight. Hi! My name is Stephaine. I live in California or a.k.a San Francisco. I live on the beach and it is soooo amazing! I love it here! My best friends are Haley, Danielle, Jenna, and Maddie. We all are going into 8th grade. Personally I love my friends to death and I will always love them. I guess I should tell you a little bit about me. I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I loved it there too, but I was only 2 when we moved away. Because I lived in Pittsburgh I am a total Penguins fan. What can I say, I love them! I am 5 foot and 2 inches. I have blond hair and shiny blue eyes. I also am a cheerleader, but not a snob. And I play softball and I am the 3rd base men. I guess you could say I'm pretty popular because, well I am. :) Anyways I live with my dad and step mom. I really miss seeing my real mother, but she still lives in Pennsylvania with some other guy, so my dad remarried. I really do love my step mom, but I always wondered what it would be like if my real mom were here. I have a sister who is 15 named Katherine, but we call her Katie. Then I have 2 step brothers, who are adorable! They are 8 and 2. The 2 year old is named Jack and the older one is named Michael but we call him Mike. Back to me now. I am 13. Yay! Teenager finally. I really do love my life, but sometimes I do wonder what could be different. School just ended and I guess you could say that I miss someone, A LOT! His name is Jake. He is 5 foot and 4 inches. He has brown hair and the most amazing hazel eyes. He lives right across the street from me so I still get to see him. Jenna and Danielle also are my next door neighbors.
