She was waiting for the perfect day to run away,
she signed on aim and he was on,
they talked for 2 hours,
she put a new quote into her buddy info,
"the ones who love you will follow"
she wrote a new away message saying,
"running away"
then she signed off.
the boy read her buddy info,
then saw her away message,
and wrote a new away message,
"follow the one you love"
then signed off.
He ran to her house in efforts to find her,
when he got to her house he rang the doorbell,
her father answered...
he asked, "is she home?"
he replied, "how should i know"
he knew her father was abusive and had no care for her,
he began to run again, but not back to his house,
he ran to the place she loved,
"the meadow" he was the only one who cared enough to read her whole buddy info, even the highlighted text that wouldnt show up "on purpose".
when he got to the meadow he saw a girl with a black sweatshirt and converse on,
he knew it was her just from the back,
he walked behind her grabbed her hips and said, "how's my love?"
she turned and noticed it was him,
he sat beside her,
she said, "how did you know" smiling.
he said, "the one who loves you will always follow"
she began to speak, "but but, how did you know to come here?"
him, "well when a person cares enough about another.. he reads between the lines"
she whispered, "i love you"
and so did he.
