I found my old converses in my closet; I remember I used to wear them all
the time, and started to wonder, why did I stop wearing them? I looked at
them more closely, then realized: toe on my right foot; it had our initials
written in sharpie. I thought about throwing them away, but decided to
take one last walk before throwing them away. I put them on, and blasted my
ipod while walking to our spot; the little creek behind the park. I sat down on
the edge, and looked at our initials;for months they had stayed there perfectly.
Too bad we couldn't have... I sighed and dipped my right toe in the water and
started to scrub our initials. The song blasting in my ears changed to our song,
and I started to scrub harder, then reached to change the song; but something
grabbed my hand; Him. My heart stopped as he spoke, "Babe don't. Don't
change our song, don't erase our initials, don't be shocked or startled that I
followed you. Please. We only broke up because I thought since we were going
to different schools, that it would hurt less than missing each other, but I was
wrong. I know I mess up, and the only thing I'm sure about is that I love you,"
I left the song play; I let our initals stay put; I got up and hugged him tight;
