I was 14 when I started dating my 17 year old boyfriend, I've been through this.. Just break it to her easy. Just be like "hey mom, can I go to the movies this weekend with my friend (whatever his name is)? Just let her drop you off and pick you up and everything, and start with giving her just a little bit of information about him at a time. With time, she'll get used to him, and gain more acceptance. That's what worked for me, but I'm still trying to work on my dad :P reply
