SO. I feel really bad. I haven't posted in forever and I was re-reading some old chapters and realized I've been letting a lot of typo's slip through. NO BEUNO! I was seriously depressed for a while….losing your best friend in the whole world is not easy. I wasn’t functioning well for about a month, and I realized that wasn’t healthy. So! I decided to move on and get back on track with lifeee (: I don’t know when the next chapter will be up, but I promise it will be very soon! LEAVE SOME FEEDBACK!! I need your opinion on where the story should gooo from here:)

    chapter 23
    Kameron’s POV:
I held the curling iron in my hair but a good distance
from my face as I didn’t want to burn myself.
    Again.
I glanced at the clock and noticed it was a quarter to 12.
“Aw crap,” I mumbled, yanking the curling iron out of my hair and switching it off. I ran my fingers through my hair once before spraying a decent amount of hair spray on it.
Satisfied, I ran out into my room to get dressed.
I stood in front of my dresser looking for a pair of jeans when I heard somone clear their throat.
    “Uh, hey there.” Someone said.
I spun around to find Andrew leaning against my doorway, trying hard not to laugh. I smiled, but my facial expression quickly changed to horror as I realized why he was laughing.
I ducked down next to my bed trying to hide the fact that I wasn’t wearing pants, but the damage had been done.
He burst out laughing, clutching his stomach.
“You’re face! You should’ve seen you’re fac - oh my goodness.
You’re turning so red! Oh lord…” he chuckled.
I glared at him. “There’s this new thing. It’s called – uh – KNOCKING!” I said, still blushing.
“Why don’t I go wait out in the living room? Take all the time you need.” He said still laughing as he disaperead down the hallway.
I sighed and threw on the first jeans I found along with the top and accessories I had already picked out.
    http://www.polyvore.com/kameron/set?id=40713789
I took one last glance in the mirror before sighing.
I looked nothing like the girls Andrew usually dated, but oh well.
I headed out and down the hallway to meet Andrew, but only found my brother.
    “Where’d Andrew go?” I asked.
“Who? Oh, Andrew. He’s waiting in the car.” He mumbled.
I smiled, “Okay. I’ll be back later!” I called as I walked out the door.
Andrew was waiting for me, leaning against the passenger door.
He smiled, as I got closer. “Why do you always look so good? It should be illegal to look that hot.”
    I blushed, “Oh stop it.”
He laughed and held the door open as I got in the car.
“Where are we going today?” I asked as he started driving down my street.
“Hmmm…I was thinking we should go out to lunch. Does Bucca sound good?”
I blushed, “Bucca’s really expensive, Andrew. We don’t have to go there.”
“I want to. Besides, we only have one more day left of spring break. We need to celebrate.”
    I laughed, “Well, if you’re sure…”
    “I am.” He said confidently.
I looked at him and smiled to myself.
I could tell Andrew was focusing on what he wanted to talk to me about because he was staring out the windshield and had forgotten
to change his radio station from old country music to modern day crap.
I started humming along to an old Johnny Cash song when he finally noticed
    And sheepishly changed the station.
“Sorry,” he mumbled. “I’m just lost in thought…”

    chapter 22
    Jake’s POV:
I sat there next to the sleeping form of my sister as she lay on the blanket she had stretched out on the shore of the lake.
Food wrappers and empty cups lay between us on the blankets.
After talking with her for over an hour, I was extremely tired and just wanted to sleep like she was. But I found it was my turn to stay up with thoughts buzzing through my head as I tried to process everything she had just confided in me.
Andrew’s jersey’s number was nine, just like mine. At our school, the Varsity team mentored the freshman team by pairing up the players with the same numbers.
I’d seen a lot of Andrew since I began school, even though he only worked with me on football once a month during off-season.
It was hard not to see the kid. His face was every.
    Homecoming court.
    Student Body President.
    The morning announcements.
Advertising the next event his club was hosting.
Pictures posted on Facebook every Friday and Saturday night from parties.
He always came across as such a happy, carefree, teenage guy having the time of his life in High School.
I never would have thought he had a daughter, lived in a dysfunctional home, had an abusive, drug using dad and worked the night shift at a fast food drive-through. I really didn’t know what to think of all this.
I didn’t know what my sister should do. I didn’t know what was going to happen between the two of them from here.
What I did know is that Connor would be so proud of me for finding all this out.
I couldn’t wait to tell him.

named it after you, pressed play & sat down at my notebook with a pen in hand. If we couldn’t have the ending I wanted us to have, I’ll rewrite it all and make it a story worth reading ♥

    chapter 21
    Kameron’s POV:
I laid in bed that night unable to sleep. Images of Avery in that house all alone, hiding in a corner watching her aunt get slapped around played through my mind. That poor little girl.
After a while, I couldn't stand it anymore. I got up and glanced at the clock.
    2:30 am.
I tip toed down the hallway and pushed open my brothers door.
"Jake. Wake up." I loudly whispered.
    "Whaaaaaa....hmmmm" He mumbled.
"C'mon. Get up." I said walking over to the bed and pulling off his blankets.
"Why? It's only 2 am, dammit." He grumbled.
"Just get up! I need you to come with me."
"Fine." He said sitting up. He pushed me out of the way and walked over to his closet to slip on a shirt and shoes.
    "Let's go." He said sleepily.
We sauntered out to the car and when we got in Jake looked at me and said, "Where are you taking me?"
"To get fat. I need some junk food and a trip to the lake to get my mind off things." I whispered.
"And I have to come because....?"
"I needed someone to talk to. And Kendall has a strong opinion about this...topic...so I needed you."
    "Ugh, girl problems?"
"No, not really. Just life problems."
"Kay fine. But we better be going to Wendy's. I really want a frosty."
I smiled and pulled out of the driveway.
Jake turned on the radio and after a few silent minutes, we pulled into the parking lot for Wendy's.
We ordered four frosties, three fries, and two burgers.
"Your total will be 15.76 at the next window. Thank you." The young guy said.
Jake handed me a few bucks and I smiled at him then gathered the rest of the money from my wallet.
I pulled up to the window and waited for the boy to turn and collect my money.
When he did, my heart stopped.
"Okay, your total was-" he cut off.
    "Andrew?" I said incrediously.
"Um, hi. 15.76 is your total." He said sheepisly.
"Oh uh right." I said handing him the money.
He printed my recipt and counted out my change in silence.
"Here you go, ma'am." he said handing them to me.
"Umm...thanks." I said quietly. "I didn't know you worked here."
"I know. Nobody really does." He whispered.
He looked at me, with those big blue eyes, in silence for a moment.
"I won't tell anyone. I promise. And my brother won't either." I quickly said.
He smiled, "Than you. I wanted to talk to you...about...today. Are you free tomorrow?"
    "No. I'm expensive."
He chuckled, "That's okay, I get paid today. Pick you up at noon?"
"Sure, that sounds good." I smiled at him.
"Alright. Have a nice night. Don't get too fat."
    I laughed, "Later Andrew."
I pulled forward to get the food, then pulled into a parking space. I turned to look at my brother and he started cracking up.
    "Jake!" I yelled, slapping him.
"I won't tell anyone. I swear. But come on. Don't you find it funny? The star football player works the night shift at Wendy's. Hahaha!"
I shook my head. "Theres a lot about Mr. Popular that you don't know."
"Oh and you do?" He said, still laughing.
I looked back at the drive-through.
"I'm starting to find out" I whispered.

    chapter 20
    Andrew’s POV:
I placed the ruined picture frame face down on the coffee table and began to clean up as best as I could. After throwing out all the empty bottles and gathering the glass shards carefully, I grabbed the bag of pot off the table.
I slowly made my way down the hallway and stopped at the last door which stood ajar. I took a deep breath.
    "Dad?" I called tentively.
    A soft snore answered me.
I pushed the door open and stepped inside cautiously.
I set the plastic bag on the nighstand next to all the pill bottles.
I stared at my father for a second, just looking him as he lay passed out and wasted on a bed he once shared with my mother.
I looked to the nightsand once more and gingerly picked up the picture laying flat. I stared at it for a moment and felt a single tear run down my cheek. I pressed my lips softly against the glass before setting it right side up on the table.
I walked out of the room but stopped with one hand on the door knob.
I looked back at the face smiling brightly from the frame.
"Happy Birthday, Mommy. I sure do miss you." I whispered before gently shutting the door and walking out of the house to my daughter waiting in the car.

    chapter 19
    Kameron’s POV:
Shatered glass lay all over the floor, a bag of weed sat open on the coffee table, and empty beer bottles and other types of alcohol containers were scattered throughout the room.
The smell was the worst though. It was a combination of all the alcohol, sweat, and urine. I stood there looking around in disbelief, my mouth gaping open, unable to find any words.
Andrew took one look at me and sighed. "AVERY!" he called out.
I heard the soft pitter patter of tiny feet and soon Avery emerged cautiously from the hallway.
    "Daddy?" she whimpered.
    "Hey baby." he said quietly.
    "Daddy, grandpa came home early."
    "I know sweetie." He sighed.
"And Auntie Chey fight him. He hit her daddy. He hit her right across the face with the back of his hand." Avery whispered. I saw Andrew stiffen before quickly scooping her up in his arms.
"So she left. But she forgot me daddy. I was being so quiet, like you told me to, and she forgot about me." Avery sobbed into his shoulder.
    "Did grandpa bother you?"
She shook her head, "No daddy. After Chey left, I hid. I hid real good and stayed quiet so he wouldn't find me."
Andrew pulled her close to him and although she could not see, I noticed a small tear esape his eye.
"I'm so sorry Avery. I'm so sorry I wasn't here to protect you. I promise you, you will never have to deal with that again."
"It's okay daddy. I still love you, and grandpa, and Auntie Chey."
He squeezed her tight for a moment before realising her.
"Kameron?" He said turning to me. I noticed I was still standing in the doorway and hurridly moved to stand next to him.
    "Yes?"
"Will you take Avery out to the car? I'll take you home in just a moment." He whispered. I nodded and held out for Avery to take. "Come on babygirl, daddy will join us in just a few minutes."
Aver wipped away her tears and placed her small little hand in my own.
I guided her out the front door, but not before looking back at Andrew.
In his hand was a framed picture of his vibrant, smiling family.
    But the glass?
Was shattered and cracked, blocking nearly each and every smile.

    Kameron’s POV:
"You know what? Maybe we should just go get ice cream or something." Andrew said tightly.
    "What? Why?" I said perplexed.
"I just...wouldn't you like some ice cream? I certianly would."
I shook my head, "I'm lactose intolerant. I can't eat ice cream."
He sighed, "Then let's go to your house. I'd love to see your brother again and see how his football team is doing."
"If you don't want to take me in your house, fine. But Avery is sitting right there in the window looking at you, and I would like to say hello." I said sounding upset. He sighed again and killed the engine.
"Come on, let's go inside and meet everyone." He whispered nervously.
I looked at him for a moment, confused by his actions, then got out of the car and followed him inside.
His steps slowed as he approached the door and I looked to the window to find Avery gone.
He pushed open the front door paused. I couldn't see into the house because he was blocking my veiw, but I could see his back muscles tighten.
"Please. Don't judge me based on what you are about to see." He whispered.
I placed my hand on his back gently and said, "Of course not, Andrew."
He nodded and pushed the door all the way open before he stepped carefully inside. I followed after him but stopped in the doorway. My body froze as I took in the horrid sight before me.

    chapter 16
    Kameron’s POV:
I sat through class and tried my hardest to focus on the test taking tips the teacher was giving. I took notes almost automatically, the information leaving my mind as soon as the letters hit the paper.
Why did Connor tell my father Andrew was no good? I knew our break up messed him up, but he didn’t seem like the kind of guy who would sabotage my new relationship.
Connor had been my first boyfriend and we started dating the middle of sophomore year when he nervously handed me a single red rose and asked me to winter formal.
I had admired him with his light green eyes paired with his dark brown hair and olive skin since I first laid eyes on him my freshman year.
It seemed like a dream come true that he would want to ask me to formal. I bought a pretty dress and sexy high heels and had my aunt do my hair and makeup for the dance and the extra effort paid off.
Connor gave me my first kiss that night as we walked through the small forest behind our school gymnasium.
We had decided to take a walk to catch our breath from being in the crowded gym, but I walked back into the dance more out of breath than when I had left.
He claimed me as his from that day forward, and I was blind with love and followed him around like a love sick puppy.
Connor was a wonderful boyfriend to me, but after being together for 2 years, I began to see his flaws. The way he cared more about the release date of COD than our anniversary, the way he cringed whenever he saw any kid below the age of 5, or how he treated school as if it were an option.
Although it irritated me, these were things I could handle.
But when I found out he had been ditching school to get high and wasted, I felt compelled to separate myself from him and his path of destruction.
He begged me to take him back and I told him the way back into my heart was simple; get help. Let me help you keep yourself clean.
He refused my help, and I was forced to leave him behind.
I still saw him occasionally after the breakup, as he and my brother had grown somewhat close. But after a while, he stopped coming by the house to see Jake and Jake stopped talking about him.
It seemed odd to me that Connor would suddenly take interest in my little brother again right as I started taking interest in another guy. Again I found myself wondering, what is this kid up to...
The bell sounded off and I shook my head to clear my thoughts.
“Everyone should go over their chapter 8 notes to refresh their memories before Mondays mock test. See you all next week.” Said the professor.
I gathered my belongings and headed out of the building.
As I pulled my phone out of my pocket to dial my dad’s number, I noticed a black car parked just outside my classroom.
I suppose I didn’t notice the car, but rather the boy sitting a top it....

    chapter 15
    Kameron’s POV:
Andrew's car idled in front of my house as he waited for me to leave but I couldn’t bring myself to look away from him. He glanced at me sideways and half smiled. “You know, as much as I love having you ogle at me, I really got to get home and put Avery to bed. My sister’s been mad at me for putting you first on my list of priorities.”
I shook my head, trying to break my gaze, but I just couldn’t. He leaned over the center console and kissed me so tenderly that I sighed.
    “Goodnight Kameron, sleep well.”
I smiled and stepped out of the car. I slammed my door shut and Andrew waited until I open my front door before honking once then driving off. I smiled dreamily as I walked to my room and my brother noticed.
“Gosh why are you so star struck?” he asked loudly.
Kendall looked at me for a moment before turning back to the T.V. “She’s in love.” She simply stated. And for once, I wasn’t going to argue with her.
    * * *
The next day I had another SAT Prep class. My dad offered to drive me since my car was in the shop getting detailed. As we drove through the neighborhood, we passed Andrew's house and saw him out in the driveway shooting hoops.
I smiled at him and when he saw me, he grinned from ear to ear and waved. I giggled and waved back before he dissapered from veiw.
"Who was that?" My dad asked.
"Just a guy from school." I said breezily.
"That didn't look like just a guy." He said smirking.
"I don't know what you're talking about." I said, feiging innocence.
"Was that the young man who had you out so late last night?" He asked.
I sighed, "Yeah, it is. His name is Andrew."
"I know his name." My dad simply stated.
"How did y - stupid Jake..." I muttered.
My dad laughed, "Actually, it was Connor. He was over yesterday and I thought he was there with you, so I asked him if you two were back together."
    "Oh God dad..." I groaned.
"Anyway, he told me no, that you were seeing some guy named Andrew now. And that I should be on the look out because this guy is a total jerk."
"He said that?" I asked intrigued. My dad nodded. "Well, don't listen to him. Andrew is the perfect gentleman." I smiled.
"Sure he is. And I expect to meet this 'perfect gentleman' before he takes my little princess out again." He said sternly.
    "Dad..." I groaned.
He smiled and leaned over to kiss the top of my head. I glnaced outside to see we were at the college.
"I just want to make sure he knows not to mess with my little girl." He said.
"Fine." I said as I climbed out of the car.
He smiled, "Have fun in class. Call me when you need to be picked up."
I nodded then headed onto campus, my head swarming with thoughts.
    What is Connor up to?

    Kameron’s POV:
It looked as if a million shooting stars were shooting across the sky at once and it took me a moment to realize it was a meteor shower.
I was captivated by the sky until the sound of Andrew's breathing became irregular. I looked down from the sky and noticed the whole world around me was bright.
I glanced at Andrew's face and saw his eyes staring intently at me.
"Stop looking at me. Look up, it's so beautiful." I said, glancing back up. He placed his hands on either sides of my face and tilted my head down to meet his.
"You're wrong. I've been staring at the most beautiful thing all night long." He whispered. I smiled and rested my head on his shoulder and continued to gaze at the sky. I felt his arms slide across my waist as he pulled me closer.
I had imagined myself falling in love several times before, but none of my wildest dreams could've prepared me for how perfect this felt.
    * * *
“So, I have to ask this even though tonight has been perfect.” I said as we walked down the beachfront. I had Andrew's jacket wrapped around me and his arm gently rested on my shoulders.
    “Alright, shoot.”
“When you see me at school, will you just ingnore me? I mean, would you be ashamed to be associated with me?”
He contemplated that for a moment then stopped walking. He stared at me for a second before moving a strand of hair away from my face and letting his fingers tangle themselves there. His face came closer to mine yet he made no move to kiss me, just stared right into my eyes.
“Kendall,” he said moving his mouth closer, “I’d have nothing to be ashamed of.” He whispered lowly. And then his mouth was less than an inch away from mine, just waiting, holding back, testing my patients. After thirty seconds I broke down and closed the small space between us.
As the moon rose behind him, Andrew kissed me like my knight in shinning armor. And this, this was my first kiss. Only because it made me forget all the ones that came before it.

He slowly leaned in and stopped with his lips just a few inches from my own. "You're wrong. I've been staring at the most beautiful thing all night long." His eyes closed, and I took that as a sign to close mine as well.
After a few hesitant seconds, I felt his lips soflty press against mine. I felt as if my entire world exploded. I leaned in again and brushed my lips against his. He shivered even though it wasn't cold. Not at all. I smiled.
"I can feel your smile against my lips while you kiss me. Do you know how amazing that feels?" He groaned. I giggled. He kissed me again and I kissed him back, still smiling. We stayed pressed against eachother until the sound of water became so evident I couldn't stand it.
I looked around and noticed that the meteor shower had ended, but a new light filled the sky. Two stadium type lights had flickered on and for the first time, I saw where I was sitting.
Underneath my dangling feet rushed an enormous amount of water. Calling this body of water a river wouldn't bring it justice. It reminded me of a damn, the way it was filling with water. I looked at Andrew to ask him what it was.
"Yeah, it's a damn." He said quietlty before I had even spoken.
I nodded and watched as the water quickly crept to the top of the cement damn. After a few moments, I started getting slightly scared. I feared it would overfill, causing Andrew and I to be whisked away with the water. I scooted closer to Andrew. Then closer. Then closer. I scooted so close that if I scooted any further, I'd be sitting on his lap. I clutched onto his arm.
"Come on, we should go. Come on Andrew, it's going to over fill! Andr-"
He gripped my waist. "Stop," he whispered. "Just wait."
I held onto him tightly and his hands rested easily on my waist. The water came to just the bottom of Andrew's shoes before the gate on one side creaked closed. I sighed in relief, but the sound was drowned out by the sound of the opposite gate opening.
The opposing gate was much larger, and the water flooded out far faster than it came in. Somehow, even though the water was moving away from me, I felt even more in danger.
What if it sucked me down with it? I turned to Andrew with real fear in my eyes, ready to ask him to leave, when he took me by suprise and kissed me. I tensed at first - how could he kiss me right now? We neededd to leave!
But after a few minutes in his arms, I felt myself relaxing.
I sat there in without a doubt the most dangerous situation I've ever been in, yet I had never felt more comfortable in my entire life.

    chapter 14
    Kameron’s POV:
I took one last look in the mirror and sighed. My make-up had been ruined, but I cleaned it up the best I could before walking out of the gas station bathroom and over to Andrew's car.
"All better?" He asked as I climbed into the front seat.
I nodded, "Thanks for stopping. I know my make-up looked a mess."
"You never look like a mess. Never." He whispered.
I smiled at him, "So now that I've cried and ruined your shirt, care to share what you have planned for us tonight?"
"No, it's still a suprise. But we ought to get going. We don't want to be late."
I pretended to sigh and he chuckled. "Just be patient. It's worth the anticipation, I promise." He said while turining the radio on low for background noise.
A few minutes later, he pulled off the main highway and onto a narrow dirt road, just wide enough for his mustang to pass through.
"Okay seriously, where are we going?" I asked perplexed.
He laughed, "Wait 5 minutes and you'll see."
I sighed and glanced at the clock.
After ten minutes on that road, we came up to a gate with a sign saying that the road was closed from that point forward.
Andrew killed the ignition and climbed out of the car, jogging around the front to open my door.
"What? This is where you're taking me?" I said stunned.
He sighed, "Will you please get out of the car? I promised you a good time, didn't I?"
I shook my head but stepped out of the car. He took my hand and locked the car. "C'mon. It's this way." He whispered, suddenly speaking quietly.
The dark, tall trees surrounding us made everything seem scarier and I pressed myself against Andrew's sighed. He smiled and looked down at me, but didn't say a thing.
About 100 yard into the little forest, I began to hear the rush of water although it sounded somewhat distant.
"Okay. We're here." He announced quietly.
    "That's great...where is "here" exactly?" I said.
"Shhh," he said, "don't be too loud."
I looked at him puzzeled, but he then remembered he couldn't see my face in the darkness.
    "Andrew-" I started.
"It's going to start," he said glancing at his watch, "here, sit down."
He helped me sit down on something that left my feet dangling off the edge and sat next to me.
The sound of water suddenly became more distinct and I tried desperatly to see through the darkness.
But a second later, I didn't have to try.
All at once, everything suddenly became clear.
Author's Note: I'm so sorry I haven't posted in such a long time. Life's been pretty rough lately, I'm in a huge fight with my best guy friend and my other best friend totally took his side. People can be ridiculous! But oh well, at least things are going good for Andrew & Kam! More chapters will be up today to make up for lost time, promise <3

    chapter 13
    Andrew’s POV:
I pulled up to Kameron’s house a little after seven and took a deep breath before heading up to the door. I took another deep breath and rang the doorbell. I heard someone bounding to the door and it was soon being whipped open to reveal Kameron’s shocked face. “What are you doing?” She asked me awestruck.
“Picking you up,” I said cautiously, “I thought we had a date..?”
“Well, y-y-yeah. But you came up to the door.” She stuttered.
“Was I not supposed to?” I asked.
“No. It’s very chivalrous. But I pegged you as the kinda guy who would expect me to just run out to the car when you pulled up and honked the horn.” She said smoothly as she pulled on her jacket.
I chuckled, “You obviously have me pegged as the wrong kind of guy, Kami.” She froze with her hand on the door handle as she was closing the door.
    “Kami?” She asked.
“Yeah…is, is that okay?” I said as a few tears welled in her eyes before she hurriedly brushed them away.
“Yeah,” She smiled up at me. “My mom used to call me that.” She started off down the stairs and I followed after looking at her slightly puzzled. I jogged ahead of her so I could open the car door.
“After you, my dear.” I said while grandly gesturing to the seat. She giggled and pretended to curtsy. “Why, than you kind sir.” She said in a horrid southern accent. I laughed and shut her door after she climbed in. We drove in silent for a while and I noticed she was looking out her window, fighting back tears. “Are…are you okay?” I asked nervously. I didn’t do well with the whole crying thing.
“Yeah, yeah. I’m fine. I promise.” She said while nodding her head furiously.
I sighed and pulled over on the side of the road.
“What are you doing?” She said, looking around.
I turned to her, using the only asset I had. My eyes stared into hers for a few moments before her lip quivered and she let a few tears escape.
“I’m sorry,” She whispered. “It just got me off guard, that’s all.”
I watched as she looked out the window, trying to stop the tears. I reached over and hugged her as best I could with the center counsel between us.
“Don’t. Don’t apologize for crying. Never apologize for having emotions around me, okay?”
She nodded against my chest. “Nobody has called me that since she passed, but to be honest, I kind of like it. It’s like she’s here, it’s like she approves.”
“Approves of what?” I asked, pulling back to look at her.
“Of me falling for you.” She whispered as her eyes twinkled.

    chapter 12
    Kameron’s POV:
I wasn’t sure what Andrew had in store for me tonight.
We were supposed to be going on our first date, but he had called me saying he was changing it up.
I got ready in a cute but simple outfit that was versatile. I actually did my makeup and put my hair in lose curls, which was rare for me.
After taking one last look in the mirror, I sighed to myself.
What did Andrew see in me? I was nothing special. And he was so obviously was.
I pulled myself away from the mirror after standing there for a few minutes, finding every flaw visible.
I stuck my head out into the hallway and yelled, "JAKE!"
    "WHAT?" My brother responded.
"Come tell me if I look alright!" I shouted back.
"No. You come here, I'm right in the middle of a video game!"
I chuckled and walked over to his door which he had left adjacent.
"Okay, so be honest, what do you-" I stopped. Sitting next to my brohter was my ex boyfriend, Conner.
    "Hey Kameron." He smiled sheepishly.
I glanced at my brother, but he just shruged his shoulders.
"Hi," I quickly said before turnning to face Jake. "So what do you think?" I asked.
He examined me for a moment before saying, "All you're missing is perfume. And not that cheep stuff you always wear, borrow some of Kendall's."
"Right. Perfume. Thanks." I said heading for the door.
"Where are you off to?" Connor asked.
"She has a date, man." Jake said, eyes focusin on the TV screen.
    "With who?" Connor said shocked.
"Uh, I think his name is Andrew? He helps coah my football team sometimes."
"You have a date with Andrew Cardenas." He said incredulously.
"I know," I whispered before shutting the door. "I can't believe it either."

    Author's note:
I just wanted to point out that when I introduced Andrew's daughter, her last name should've been Cardenas also. I don't know how I let that slip by :P but oh well!
