   Morning came, I woke up yawning I checked my phone.
   2 missed calls, and 4 messages 1 voicemail. All from Andrew
   "He must really love me" I smiled, I checked the voicemail;
   "Hey beautiful, I know you're sleeping but I just wanted to say. You're the most sweetest girl in my life. I don't ever want to loose you, sweet dreams" I smiled, and saved the message.
   That made my day.
   I got out of bed, took a shower, and put on black shorts and a red tank top.
   It looks like it's going to be a Sunny day,
   I hate Summer, it's so annoying. Heat gets me irritated quickly.
   My parents left me with 200$, they told me to use it wisely.
   I agreed with them, I'm not going to have a party or anything like that.
   There was hardly food in the fridge.
   "Time to go shopping" I sighed,
   ---
   I opened the front door, and the sun shined down at me.
   I walked out, and locked the door and started walking to the nearest grocery store.
   "Walmart" I smiled, I walked into walmart and got my food.
   Some healthy food, some junk food.
   I love Junk Food.
   But my parents always tell me to eat healthty.
   They don't want me fat,
   "That will be $30.00" The handome cashier said,
   I smiled and handed him the cash, "Thanks. Have a nice day!"
   I put the bags in the cart and walked out.
   "I promised Andrew I would go meet up with him," I thought to myself.
   I opened my door with the spare key, and put all the food away.
   I called Andrew up, and told him if he still wanted to meet up
   "Sure, I'll pick you up and we can go to my place"
   I smiled and agreed.
   He hung up, and texted me "I'm going to get ready, It will be like 30 minutes"
   "Okay" I said.
   I put my phone down and had a snack while I was waiting for him to arrive

   The movie ended, and we all went home, well; I went to Andrew's house.
   "I'll walk home" I said to him,
   "At 12:OO?" His mouth dropped,
   "No way!"
   He took my hand, and put me in his car.
   "I'll drive you"
   He drove off and smiled, "What do you want to name your kid when you have kids?"
   "I never thought about it,"
   He smiled, "I've always wanted a kid"
   I looked out the window,
   "Well this is awkward." I thought to myself, trying not to get creeped out.
   "No, you dont."
   "They're hard work"
   He laughed, and said "Well, I know that."
   I rolled my eyes playfully, "If you want to get me pregnant, the answer is no. My parents would kill me."
   "I know, not now.. Someday"
   "Yeah, someday" I agreed.
   "My house is right here"
   I pointed, and he smiled.
   He watched me get out of the car, and I opened the door with a spare key.
   I waved bye to Andrew and went inside,
   He drove back to his house, and then I was kind of scared to stay alone but I didn't want to stay at Andrew's and 50/50 chance I might get pregnant. No way!
   My phone rang, and it was Andrew "Hey baby" He said sweetly,
   "Hello."
   I smiled, and his voice was so sweet.
   "Andrew, listen. I didn't want to sound rude or anything, I'm just not ready. Plus, we just met."
   "Maybe a year from now"
   I heard a whisper,"Or a week..."
   "HUH?" I spoke really loudly,
   "I'm joking" He laughed hysterically.
   I laughed with him, and we lasted an hour on the phone and then he dozed off.
   I hung up the phone and changed into my pajamas.
   I fell asleep automatically.

   We arrived at his house an hour later, it was a tiny house but looked neat inside.
   I smiled, and he grabbed my hand "Make yourself feel at home" He said sweetly to me,
   I smiled, "Thanks" I am always shy, and I never knew why.
   I cracked my knuckles, and Andrew copied me.
   I giggled, and said "Sorry, it's a habit"
   He smiled and said, "Same here."
   He made me some sweet tea and gave me some,
   I took a sip, "Mmmm, delicious"
   I wiped my lips, and said "Thank you"
   "You're welcome" He responded.
   I put my tea on the table, and he asked if I wanted to go to the movies.
   I sighed, and said "I don't think I can go"
   "Oh, c'mon"
   "Don't be a party pooper!" He is clingy already.
   That is not a good sign, I don't really like clingy people.
   "Fine but then I have to go home"
   "You can spend the night at my house, my mom wont mind" He said without hesitation.
   I rolled my eyes back when he wasn't looking,
   "I can't."
   "Your parents are gone, they wont know"
   "I know, but I have tons of pets and I need to take care of them" I lied,
   "Alright then" He sighed,
   I knew he was sad, but I didn't want to spend the night on the first date, that's just weird and something people shouldn't do.
   "Stephanie?"
   "Yes?"
   "Are you ready for the movies?"
   "Sure"
   I wasn't in the mood, but I didin't want to be rude about it;
   I already felt bad that I said I couldn't spend the night,
   Well... I lied to get out of it.

   I'm pretty shocked, I thought he was going to look like an old creep.
   But, turns out he's the total opposite, well.. Let's hope so. It's the personality that matters,
   He shook my hand and smiled, "Andrew."
   "My name is Andrew"
   "I'm Stephanie" I introduced myself, I was so shy. I didin't have my high pitched voice I usually have,
   "Nice name, nice to meet you."
   He took me by the hand, and we walked on the side walk going to the beach
   Andrea had already left by the time I turned my head back,
   We took a long watch on the beach, it was a sunny/windy day.
   We ate apples while walking, and we talked about ourselves to get to know eachother.
   He let me talk most of the time,
   "It's your turn" I offered him to go talk about himself, 'cause I already told him a lot.
   "Well, I am seventeen years old. My parents are divorced, it's better that way although I do miss my dad"
   I looked at him while he was talking to me.
   "Every girl I have dated has cheated on me"
   My mouth dropped, "Why?You seem so sweet"
   He smiled, "Thanks, you too"
   He continued to talk about himself, and said"I don't fall in love easy"
   I looked up, "I never had a boyfriend"

   "It's just my parents. They're overprotective, and they don't trust me; All they give me lectures about is guys"

   He began holding my hand, and his hands were so soft.

   "Um, yeah.." I said shyly looking away still holding onto his hand,
   "Good" He tried looking in my eyes,
   "I don't really want to loose it." I mummered.
   He sat me down on a bench to rest our feet.
   He played footsies with me and then he smiled,
   Gosh, he's so adorable. His smile and his white teeth; That was so beautiful.

   *RING RING* My alarm clock woke me up at six oh'clock.
   I woke up yawning, I was pretty tired and I got in the shower.
   An hour later I got out of the shower and I was clean and I blow dryed my long brunette hair
   I grabbed some lipgloss and put some on my lips; and then put eyeliner on.
   I hope he thinks I'm pretty,
   I grabbed some shorts and a shirt and got dressed.
   I looked out the window, and it looked a bit windy so I grabbed a sweater.
   Andrea called me and said, "He told me to tell you meet him in front of the beach"
   "Alright" I said, hanging up the phone.
   I don't even know who he is, what if he some creep.
   I got my keys, and went in my car and drove off.
   I live about an hour way from the beach. Maybe two hours,
   I hope this goes good, I'm so nervous.
   I'm always shy to meet new people, expecially guys. Well, I never even really meet guys. My parents are so over protective.

   Two hours later I got there, and I got out of the car
   Andrea got out of her car, and said "When he gets here I'll leave you two alone"
   I rolled my eyes playfully,"Oh stop being silly, we aren't going to anything"
   Maybe if I know him but not now, I don't even know the guy.

   Andrea has been my friend for five years so she pretty much knows what I go for in a guy, how I am, and everything else.
   She smiled, and pointed to his car and waved to get his attention.
   He parked the car next to us, and he came out next to us.
   My mouth dropped when I seen him,
   "He is so cute" I thought to myself.

   The day passed really quickly, and it was already night time.
   I flipped my hair back, and went downstairs to cook some dinner for myself.
   I heard the house phone ring and I answered it, "Hello?"
   "Hi Stephanie, how is everything around the house?" My mom asked me,
   "It's doing fine, I'm cooking dinner right now and then going to fold some clothes, and head to sleep"
   "Alright, remember not to have guys!" She told me again,
   I rolled my eyes, and hung up.
   I'm so tired of hearing that, I hate it.
   I mean, they had me when they were teenages.
   They're just being hypocrites.
   I finished making my food, it was Corn, Rice, Beans, and a Steak from earlier today.
   I was hungry, so I began to eat.
   I opened my phone and it was 9:OO PM
   If my parents were here they would have me in bed by eight.
   I finished eating and I went in the attic and opened the laundry mat for my dry clothes.
   I put them in a basket, and I went inside and put them in the front room.
   I turned on the radio and began to fold the clothes.
   I yawned, and 2 hours later I finished the clothes,
   I put them in the closet and went in my room and got warmed up in the fuzzy blankets,
   I put my alarm clock on for 6:OO A.M. to wake up for my blind date, and fell fast asleep.

    We got home, and I was so excited to get home;
    Kevin opened the door, and me and Lauren went inside.
    His mother gave me a dirty look and walked away,
    I knew she was mad at me. She had a good reason, so I don't blame her.
    I was so stupid, I should have listened.
    I said, "Lauren; Kevin.. Wait here"
    I knocked on his mom's door, and she opened it.
    "What?" She said, giving me an attitude.
    I walked in, and closed the door behind me.
    "I'm sorry" I sighed.
    "For what?"
    She paused, "Breaking my son's heart?"
    "I WAS MAD, HE CHEATED ON ME AND BROKE MY HEART." I raised my voice, and started crying.
    I'm so emotional.
    She grabbed my arm, and hugged me
    "It's alright" She forgaved me.
    "I'm so stupid, I should have listened"
    "Shhh." She smiled, and hugged me.
    "You and Kevin will get married one day."
    I smiled, and wiped my tears.
    Kevin and Lauren walked in, and I smiled really big.
    I ran up to Kevin and Lauren and hugged them both really tight.
    "I love you guys so much."
    His mom smiled,

    Chapter 25
    Morning came, and I was so excited to help Lauren get out of here with me.
    She doesn't deserve this, well no person deserves this.
    I heard Marc wake up, and I heard the keys.
    I faked sleeping, and he checked in on me.
    He closed the basement, and I heard footsteps.
    I looked around, and I heard the front door shut,
    I got up and looked around the basement for some knives, or something just incase he comes back and hurts us.
    I went up the basement, and opened up the door.
    I walked to Lauren's room, and woke up her up.
    "Wake up" I whispered.
    "We are going to get caught. He probably has cameras"
    "We will be gone already"
    She was terrified, I could tell by the look in her eyes.
    But after my step dad, and mom. I'm not afraid of anybody, and anything.
    I walked out with Lauren, and grabbed food in the kitchen, and shoved them in my bags.
    "You don't deserve to be hurt, Lauren"
    I grabbed her hand gently, and heard a car beep.
    "GO UP TO YOUR ROOM!"
    She ran up to her room, and shut her door.
    I ran down the basement, and shut my door.
    I faked sleep and he came in
    "Where's my lighter?" I heard him in the kitchen
    I bit my bottom lip, hoping he wont notice the missing food on the table.
    Good thing he didint.
    He went back outside, and I heard the car drive off.
    I ran up to Lauren's room,
    "That was a close one" I said quietly.
    The doors were closed, where we cant get out. Even the windows,
    I grabbed a bat, "We have to break the window and run"
    "B-but"
    I grabbed her hand, "Close your eyes"
    She closed her eyes, and I broke the window.

    She got out and waited for me to get down.
    I got down, and started running.
    I have really bad astma so I was hoping not to loose my breath.
    "We're free!" I said
    She took out her cellphone, and I asked; "Can I make a call?"
    She gave me her phone, and I called Kevin while we were speed walking.
    I explained to him everything, and he was worried.
    "W-here are you and your friend?"
    "U-Uhhh,"
    I squinted my eyes, and said
    "Downtown, Carpenter Rd."
    "I'm on my way, meet me in the park."
    I said, "We have to go to park, my ex is going to pick me up."
    "Your ex?" She said
    "Yeah, he cheated on me.."
    She sighed, and we walked to the park
    I got out the snacks, and began to eat with her.
    "I haven't ate in like this, forever!" Lauren said smiling.
    I was happy and said, "Me too."
    It was a really hot day and we just waited for Kevin on the benches.

    I quietly opened my phone, and took off the brightness for he wont see the bright from my phone.
    I heard footsteps so I put my phone away quickly and acted like I was sleeping.
    He came down the basement, and he walked slowly and he whispered "I'm going to hurt her"
    He went back upstairs, and I was terrified.
    I should have NEVER came in this house, or even met him.
    But he's just so cute, I couldn't help it but say hi.
    I texted Kevin,
    "Hey.."
    "What do you want?A reward?"
    "No.." I put my phone down,
    "Now everyone hates me..."
    I sighed, and closed my eyes holding back my tears.
    My phone rang, and I forgot to put it on silent.
    "Oh sh*t" I whispered
    I put it on silent, and Marc came down quickly.
    "What was that?" He hollered
    "It was my mom" I lied,
    "YOUR MOM IS DEAD." He screamed even liar.
    He grabbed my phone and looked through the messages.
    He had an angry expression on his face
    I gulped, and he threw my phone the ground really hard,
    He pulled me out of the closet, and said
    "This is a warning. Don't do it again"
    I apologized, and he said "No phone for two days"
    He picked it up off the ground, and put it in his pocket and walked away.
    I was shaking so bad, and I wanted out.
    Lauren came down when he fell asleep, two hours later.
    She stroked my hair back, and whispered
    "Are you okay?" I whispered back, "Yes" still shaking
    "I know how he is. He beat me,too."
    "Are you his girlfriend?"
    "No, ex. He makes me clean, like I'm his maid."
    "I had to go to the hospital because he beat me so hard."
    "I was in a coma, for two days!"
    My mouth dropped,
    "We need to get out of here, soon"
    "I tried that plently of times."
    "Never worked"
    I took my hair out of my eyes, "Well, we will find a way out"
    Lauren looked at me, and I whispered
    "Anyone else in here?"
    "No, just me"
    "And you" she added.
    I opened up my purse quietly, and got out some M&M's from earlier.
    I gave them to her,
    "Keep them, you're starving I bet"
    "Thank you"
    She ate them quickly, and I whispered "Do you have a phone?"
    "He took it away from me a long time ago"
    "Does he work all the time? I whispered
    "He works at the swimming pool, downtown; Every day."
    "I have a plan, go get some sleep. Tomorrow morning I will wake you up when he leaves to work"
    "Okay" She said quietly.
    She walked upstairs, and went in her room.
    She made it safely, and I fell asleep quickly.

    I put my head down, and he said there was a couple rules; and I had to follow them.
    "What are they?" I asked.
    "No sweets after eight" He paused,

    I sighed, 'cause I had a lot of guy friends

    "Breakfast is at 8:45, if you miss you cant eat anything until Lunch"
    "You walk to school, or make money for the bus"
    "Thats all"
    I sighed, and went in the basement
    "Why is there so many rules?" I sighed, and unpacked my clothes.
    I organized my clothes, and the closet was big.
    I finished around eight o'clock.
    I'm starving, I haven't ate anything but a number four from McDonald's.
    "Dinner is ready"
    I went upstairs, and it was just steak.
    Nothing else, just steak.
    This girl came down, and she said hello to me.
    "Hi" I said shyly.
    I was always shy to meet people, well.. I blame that all on my step dad.
    I ate the steak, and she ate some with me.
    "This is my roomate" Marc said glaring at me with his evil eyes.
    "I'm Amy" I said,
    "I'm Lauren"
    She paused,
    "Nice to meet you"
    "Nice to meet you" I faked a smile, and she smiled at me.
    She had long blonde hair, and she had shiny blue eyes.
    "Wish I looked like her" I thought to myself,
    I ate slowly because I was shy,
    Lauren finished, and went up to her room.
    Marc grabbed my plate, and put it in the sink.
    I wasn't even finished.
    "It's nine oh'clock"
    He paused, "It's passed dinner"
    I was still hungry but I just left and went to the basement.
    I was so freaked out, but where else would I go?

    I was kind of nervous, because I barely knew Marc.
    He was driving pretty fast, but I just looked out the window.
    My phone rang,
    Might be my friend, I thought to myself.I took it out, and right away
    "Who's texting you Amy?"
    I looked down, and said "My friend,Clarissa"
    He rolled his eyes;
    "Alright..Well theres a rule.No texting after 8"
    I rolled my eyes, "Okay"
    I put my phone in my pocket and I looked out the window.
    "I-I'm scared"I thought to myself.
    I bit my bottom lip, and I seen his house.
    "Wow, it's huge"I said,in excitement

    I looked down and followed him to his front door
    He opened it and it was huge inside, and outside

    We went home, finally and I went straight to my room.
    I put my phone down, and he right when I did that he texted me;
    "I'm Marc" I read the text,
    I smiled and texted back, "Nice name"
    Kevin came in my room, and said "What was wrong today?"
    I blurtted it out, and said "You cheated on me. I read those messages; you were lying the whole time."
    His mouth dropped, "H-How did you know?" He stuttered,
    "Read your messages"
    I rolled my eyes, and I paused
    "I'm moving on to someone else."
    "No, please dont."
    Kevin tried grabbing my hand, and I said "Stop it, Kevin. All you did was lie to me"
    I paused,
    "And I was stupid to believe it."
    I texted Marc back, and asked if I could live with him since Kevin and I were over.
    "Sure" He responded without any hesitation
    I smiled, and began to pack everything
    "I-I'm sorry" Kevin said
    "Too late" I said giving him an attitude

    Hours passed, and Kevin was still begging me to stay;
    He told me it wasn't safe, and that I barely know this guy,
    I lied and said that he was my friends brother.
    I sighed, and continued packing my bags.
    Finally Kevin gave up and slammed the door,
    I felt bad but I didin't even care. He was stupid, all he did was lie.
    Karma is getting him good.
    I put on a different outfit, and I walked out the door with my clothes,
    "Amy, where are you going?" His mother approached me
    "Somewhere else, Kevin cheated on me"
    I texted Marc the address, and he said he'll be right there.
    I waited for him to get there, and twenty minutes passed.
    He arrived, and he opened the trunk for me,
    I put my stuff in there and went in the passanger seat;
    He came in and said "Safty first"
    He buckled my seat belt and drove off, and Kevin was looking at me;
    His eyes were watery.

    I got out the door, and went outside.
    The sun was still out; and I looked at the sky.
    "Wow, beautiful day" I said to myself
    Kevin got out, and held my hand.
    I let go, and walked away in the swimming area.
    I seen lots of people there.
    "Maybe I'll make a new friend" I thought positevitly.
    I put my bag down, and went inside the pool;
    "It's warm" I said,
    I went in and I started swimming trying to avoid Kevin.
    He came behind me,
    "Wow.. you're a fast swimmer, Amy."
    He grinned, and swam away.
    I seen him staring at all those fake girls in bikinis.
    I rolled my eyes, and started doing the same but with guys; of course.
    "What a smokin' body" I thought to myself.
    He was so hot
    Spiky black hair, had a 6 pack; and oh my goodness! Those gorgeous dark brown eyes
    My mouth dropped, and he glanced at me.
    I put my head in the water and began swimming again.
    Good thing Kevin didint see me looking at that gorgeous man.
    I kept swimming and went in the deep part, where he was.
    Kevin tried following me, but he couldn't catch up to me.
    I stopped, and Kevin smiled;
    "Slow down there, Amy"
    I took a deep breath, and started swimming again.
    "Kevin!" His mother shouted.
    "What?"
    "Let's go outside, and get Amy's towels. I forgot them in the trunk"
    Kevin got out of the swimming pool, and I thought to myself "Thank goodness"
    I went up to the guy, "Hi" I said gently,
    "Hey" He said shyly
    I wrote down my number on a piece of paper, and gave it to him.
    I seen him smile, and I started swimming.
    Kevin came back, and started swimming.

    An hour and a half passed, and everyone went home.
    I got out of the pool, and the guy was still swimming.
    "I think he works here" I thought to myself
    He was getting all the floaties out, and he stretched his muscles.
    "My goodness" I bit my lip and went into the showers to go change.
    I turned on the shower, and washed my hair and body.
    I put on my clothes and dried off my hair.
    I was wearing shorts and a tank top.

    I seen him smile right when I got out, and he took out his phone;

    "Amy" I went out of the pool, and seen him glance at me.
    I went in the car, and Kevin didin't even notice.
    Neither did his mother,
    I went inside the car and ate my cheeseburger
    "Thanks for taking me" I said sweetly,
    She smiled and started driving off.
    I put my phone on silent, and constantly got text messages from him.
    I told him how my mom and dad were to me and about Kevin of course.
    We got to the house, finally.
    I can lay in my bed, and enjoy the night.

    Chapter 19
    I felt bad about lying to Kevin's mother, but what was I suppose to do?
    Tell his mom, that her son is nothing but a liar/cheater?
    No..
    She got up, and sighed then went out.
    I went out along with her, and she called Kevin down.
    "Are you ready to go swimming?"
    His response was quick and simple,
    "Of course."
    I faked a smile, once again and just walked out the door.
    "Amy! Wait for me!" Kevin shouted,
    I stopped, and the sun was still out.
    "Today is a hot day" I mummered to myself.
    His mother came out with her purse, some extra clothes in a bag; and make up.
    She closed the door, then made sure it was locked.
    She let me sit up front, and Kevin was in the back.
    I looked out the window, and Kevin's mom smiled;
    "Oh yeah, we can never forget McDonald's!"
    She got off an exit, and I seen a big "M" sign,
    I always know when I'm going to McDonald's
    I love McDonald's, but I doubt that's going to make me happy.
    She asked what I would like when we get there.
    "Uh, a number four please" I said shyly.
    I took out my wallet, and offered to pay.
    "I got it, sweetie."
    I put my money away, and I sighed.
    I hate when people pay for me,
    I feel so bad when they do
    Kevin held my hand, and I tried letting go.
    He texted me off my new phone, and I read it;;
    "What's wrong?"
    I turned off my phone, for I wouldn't be getting any no messages.
    I rolled my eyes, and we pulled up to the Drive-Thru
    "What can I get for you today?"
    "One #4, with a coke"
    "Anything else?"
    "One McChicken with a medium fry, with a diet coke"
    Aannnddd,
    "A side salad"
    She said sweetly,
    I smiled, and she said "That will be 8.45 since at the next winow, please"
    She pulled up to the next window, and paid the lady
    "Have a nice day"
    She drove off to the next window, and we waited paitently for our food.
    5 minutes later, we got our food.
    Before we left she handed it out to all of us
    "Thank you so much" I said sweetly,
    I paused for a minute, "You're so sweet"
    "Aw thank you"
    Kevin smiled, and I rolled my eyes
    "I wasn't talking to you, idiot" I thought to myself.
    I began to eat, and we drove off to swim.
    I finished eating my fries, and I began to eat my one cheeseburger.
    I drank some of my coke,
    "I'll save the other cheeseburger when I'm done swimming"
    "Sounds good"
    His mother said,
    Kevin was grubbing, I heard his chewing; and he finished eating quickly.
    We got to swimming area,
    Finally.. Maybe this will calm me down.

    Does Kevin really think thats nothing is wrong?
    I've been giving him short responses for the last hour.
    His mom finally came home, and said to me "Put your swim suit on sweetie!"
    I faked a smile, "Alright"
    I locked the door, and put my swim suit on.
    I looked into the mirror, "Ew! An enormous cow."
    I rolled my eyes, and said under my breath, "No wonder why Kevin is cheating on me."
    I went out, and his mother was in the kitchen
    I went to the kitchen and she complimented me right away,
    "You look beautiful!"
    I smiled at her, "Thanks"
    I said softly looking away.
    "Are you okay, Amy?You don't look to well."
    "Ah, a lot of things are on my mind.. I guess"
    I lied, and just walked off.
    "Amy, come back" She said trying to get my attention
    I stopped, and went back to the kitchen
    "Come in my room; let's talk" She said calmly. I did as she said, and went in her room
    I was worried about what she wanted to talk about,
    I need to stop overthinking.
    It just makes me more stressed.
    "What's on your mind?"
    I didin't wanna tell her, straight up that her son's a cheater.
    I took a deep breath,
    "Nothing... I-I'm just depressed about my mother passing away" I lied,
    Although I was.. that wasn't the real reason. I looked her in her eyes,
    "Yeah.. I know how it feels" I looked down, and my mouth dropped.
    "What do you mean?"
    "My mother passed away when I was 17,
    She commited suicide."
    My mouth droppeed even more.
    "I can't belive that" I said shockingly.
    "No suprise. She was getting older"
    I was shocked that she wasn't depressed or even sad about talking about it.
    My eyes started to get watery
    "I-I'm sorry"
    I said sweetly, trying to calm myself down.
    "It's okay" she said.
