    Chapter 2
"Oh my goodness! Look at you!" I heard someone squeal. I turned around slowly, trying not to mess up my long wavy meduim brown hair. It was Seth's mom with a camera. Great. She began clicking away and told us to stand closer together, have his arm around me, hug eachother, and more directions for different poses. Just as I thought I was about to have a seizure, the rest of the paparazzi came. AKA my grandma, aunt, dad, and mom. When I decided the night couldn't get any worse, Brayden's family showed up at the door and walked right through with their cameras. World-1 Kiara-0.
Perfect night, not that perfect right now.
"Oh my! Kiara! I have never seen you more beautiful in my life!" Brayden's mom gushed.
    "Uhm thanks Mrs. Thomson."
"Now, where is Brayden? He said he was coming over to get dressed since you had his tuxedo."
    "H-He what?!" I studdered.
Brayden had lied! He never lied to me before. At least not that I know of. What else has he lied about?
"Yeah that's what he said," Mrs. Thomson confirmed, "Oh is he in the bathroom? Brayden! BRAYYYDEN?!"
Just then a door opened upstairs and out walked Brayden.
"Who's calling my-MOM!" I heard him curse under his breath, "What are you doing here?!"
"Wait, Brayden, why are you not in your tux yet?" She asked confused.
I felt like I had to step in. Brayden and his mother don't get along that great and it gets pretty ugly.
"Mrs. Thomson, I'm sure Brayden was just about to put it on when you got here. Right, Brayden?"
He looked at me with eyes full of worriedness and thankfulness.
"Yes, that's right Mom. Oh, and Kiara, I'm going to need help with my tie."
Out of the corner of my eye I saw Seth roll his eyes. Weird.
"Okay, I'll be up in 5 minutes so you have time to get dressed." I responded.
As he walked back into Spencer's room, I turned to Seth.
"Wow. Can you believe him? How embarassing. How do you put up with that?" Seth remarked.
    "Um excuse me?!"
"I mean arguing with your mom while everybody's watching."
    "EXCUSE ME?!" I asked again.
"That kid made the right decision by not coming to the dance."
"Seth are you kidding me right now?! You don't even know half of his story, and you have the nerve to say something like that? He's a really great guy, and I don't think you should have said that stuff. Its not him at all!"
Oh my gosh. Our first fight. Tonight.
Could this get any worse? No. I'm positive this night will be perfect. And that is exactly what it's going to be.

    Chapter 1
As I put on my high heels and put away my make up, I knew that this homecoming was going to be one to remember. Of course whenever people say that in books or movies it always is something to remember, but in a bad way. No. My homecoming night this year was going to be perfect, I could just feel it. I would be voted homecoming queen while my boyfriend, Seth, would be my prince charming. I’m not usually caught up in the whole drama of dances and what not, but this year I wanted it. Maybe even needed it. Especially with Seth. I wanted to have a special moment with him. Now I’m not one to cling obnoxiously to their boyfriends either, but Seth just had that magical thing to him. He was nice, smart, funny, athletic, sweet, romantic, good looking, and overall he just had a genuinely kind heart. Probably the perfect guy. I know those are impossible to get these days, but I hadn’t found anything imperfect about Seth just yet. I’m just your average girl attempting to fit in, which is why I was so shocked when I was nominated to run for homecoming queen. Of course Seth would win homecoming king considering that he’s a ladies man, but I never worry because he always whispers, “You’re mine forever, babe.” And as a matter of fact, I do believe him. He has never once told me a lie, and one time he tried but he’s a really bad liar so I could tell.
I was walking down the stairs in hope to just get Seth and leave without any pictures being taken and all that other goo-goo ga-ga stuff. Once I reached the bottom step, I was ready to bolt. I opened the front door and jumped back in fright. There, on my front porch, was standing Brayden.
“Whoa Miss Mexican Jumping Bean, what’s your hurry?” He joked.
    “Hey Brayden,” I mumbled.
    “Mind if I come in?”
Don’t get me wrong, I love Brayden to death, he’s my best friend, but I really wanted to get going.
“Um well actually, Brayden, I was just leaving to go to homecoming.” I said.
“ Isn’t that in an hour and a half?”
I was speechless. “Are you going?” I tried to change the subject.
    “Nah, I don’t have a date.”
“You don’t need a date. Go with your friends.”
“Well then maybe I just don’t feel like going,” he shrugged. “God, Kiara, I don’t need to do EVERYTHING the school has planned do I?” He shoved me playfully.
“No I guess not…but it’d be more fun if you went.”
“Nah. You wouldn’t even pay attention to me anyway. You have Seth…” He trailed off in thought.
I was stuck on what to say next. In all honesty, he was right. I wouldn’t pay attention to him. Not that I would mean to. Just Seth is a really great guy and I love him.
“Well I guess you can come in and hang out with Spencer.” I finally answered his question.
    “Okay cool. Where is he?”
“In his room. Probably playing COD or something.”
    “Sweet. Thanks Kiara.”
As he stepped into the door, Seth turned the corner.
His eyes lit up as he saw me. “My God! Kiara you are so beautiful! You are sure to win homecoming queen tonight.” He walked over and kissed me on the cheek.
I giggled, “Thanks Seth. Your tux isn’t that shabby either,” I smiled.
I could sense Brayden tense up. He’s been acting really weird when Seth was always around. Then Seth seemed to finally notice Brayden.
“Oh, uh, hey Brayden,” he said uncertainly.
Why was Seth acting weird all of a sudden?
    Something was going on.
Hey guys I couldn't figure out a title so please help! Comment some suggestions? and should I keep going with the story? is it good so far? Thanks!
