Maybe I'm just weird.
But to me, love isn't all about those [[butterflies]]
& kisses. It's about always being there for the other
person. It's n o t about picking out flaws & trying to
accept them. It's about loving them because of their
flaws. It's not when you have someone just because
e v e r y o n e e l s e
does but it's when you're with them, regardless of
all the other people. It's not having someone to hug
you, it's having someone who holds you and with
that, makes everything okay. It's not when you
makeout. It's when they give you a peck on the lips
& you just know how much you mean to them.
It is not being able to say "I love you." It's meaning
it;; truly. It's not about having that person for the
school year or just the summer . . . it's having them
for years and really wanting to be with them for
that time. And it's n o t true love when you're
12 and in middle school, or 15 in high school
when you have a future meeting other possible
"loves" ahead. It's when you're eighty & retired and
could never even imagine growing even older with
anyone else. But, then again ... as I said before,
Maybe I'm just weird.
