I’m in high school, I go to school everyday to hear people complain about the little things: Being single, not getting a new pair of shoes, being forever alone, how they can’t wait to move out, how so-and-so is so ugly, fat, horrible, etc. I go home and open up Facebook. I see all the same things. It disgusts me.
Everybody takes little things for granted. Breathing, walking, having a future, being able to have children, and get married someday. Everybody complains how they’re SO unhappy. My opinion? Unless you're dying, homeless, have no moral support, no education whatsoever, etc. then using the term "unhappy" shouldn't be used. You have to find something worth being happy for. I mean, at least you have a life to look forward to. Yeah, you may be single NOW but you have a future, you'll get married, maybe have kids, live your life. Some people don't get that. Some people are sick, and will never live to do half of the things that you might get to accomplish in life. I feel like everybody takes the little things in life for granted, and won't really understand how precious life is until they're faced with life or death situations. It's such a terrible way to live, because in an instant, you could lose everything. I mean, sh*t happens... at least be happy for what you do have, rather than be unhappy for what you don't have. I take everyday step by step, and I try my hardest to be as happy as possible. Maybe it’s the Cancer speaking, but if I’m sixteen now and not supposed to make it past twenty-one, I want to live with no regrets, happy as possible, having done as much with my life as possible. I’m not asking for a million faves, I just want people to understand how precious their time is. Don’t lose yourself.
Just be happy.
