Hey Stephen.
Sorry to write you this "dear john" letter,
i hope you can forgive me but i couldn't end things any better.
Whenever were together you take me back to december,
the first day we met, the best day i can remember.
That first day we met i was only fifteen,
it felt like a love story until you showed me your inner mean.
You told me this was forever&always in my naive mind that thought was so much fun,
until you angrily stated i would never grow up then i knew i had to run.
Whenever i look into your eyes the sparks fly,
and i never thought you'd do this to me, never thought you'd make me cry.
They all said the story of us was a fantasy that you were only using me,
guess i should have listened from the beginning because i know you're not sorry.
When you pulled up in that white horse my thoughts were well past haunted,
you told me i looked so pretty at that thought i felt enchanted.
A real Tim McGraw you seemed to me,
from that point i knew you belong with me.
I was so fearless with you by my side no matter who happened to walk by,
but now i just have one question for you please, just tell me why?
I think back to our last kiss how we haven't spoken ever since,
now i understand when i saw you with her i knew you weren't my prince.
I never saw this coming never thought that you would change,
and when i saw you hold her in your arms my stomach began to churn,
i've now begun to realize you're just another picture to burn.
Writing you this letter i sit here trying to breathe,
thinking if your not my prince hes still out there somewhere,
that thought spinning through my head brings my mind to ease.
One last thing Stephen, don't try to tell me these things aren't true,
i just thought i'd let you know the way i loved you.
