Have you ever been alone?
Truly alone. Kinda like, you can be in a crowd of people and just
feel....empty, in a way. The superficiality of it all just dawns on
you, and you realize these people just don't care. They won't be
there for you, won't be your shoulder to cry on. You can't seem
to talk to [anyone], even people you've relied on for comfort.
You can't seem to speak.
You just can't seem to let out the feelings that have been
bothering. You feel like no one understands, no one cares.
It's at that point where you want to curl up into a tiny ball on
you bed, and just sleep f o r e v e r. Stay that way. But you
can't. You need to leave, but you remain emotionally alone.

There's comfort in books.
There's the security and relief in knowing the terrible things
happening to the main character i s n ' t happening to you.
There's a [ wistful hope ] in wanting to be in that far off land
y o u r e a d a b o u t. T h e r e ' s t h e
total escape from reality,
as you immerse yourself in the words. If you get really into
a book, you're practically part of the story. You feel for the
characters, you get angry at the antagonists, you f a l l for
the perfect guy. Okay, you don't like to read. That's fine. But
you're missing out on an escape from the world, a place where
no one can touch you.

the boy I love: You're breaking my heart. I can literally feel it
crack. I know you're changing, I can see it with my own eyes.
I'm happy. I'm glad you're trying harder, I'm glad I have some
meaning in your life. But I'm afraid you'll relapse into the person
that just kept breaking my heart no matter what you did or didn't
do. I don't want that. It hurts me, but I'm afraid if I leave, the
pain of not being with you will be g r e a t e r than the pain of being
with you, and I don't know what to do. I love you with my
whole being, and you make me happier than anyone but you hurt me more than them too...

A lot of things scare me.
I'm terrified or heights and deep water and spiders. I'm scared of the dark and I'm
afraid of dying. But I'm also really scared of this. Of us. It's something I've never
experienced before and it scares the crap out of me that I don't know what's
coming next. But still, it's one of those I'm so-scared-I-might-crap-my-pants-but-
it's-still-a-really-good-and-happy-feling-because-I-like-you-a-lot sort of feeling and
that makes me happy.
