Chapter Twelve
Troy
I tapped on Addison's window.
"Troy!?" She shrieked and silenced herself, "What are you doing?!"
I smiled, "I told you I was coming over... Ready?"
Addison looked at the ground and I could see her thinking.
She huffed, and grabbed a sweatshirt before following me out the window.
"Yeahh!!" I hollered when we got into the car "Lets go!"
She shook her head disapprovingly "What is this about"
"I don't know, something to do on a Tuesday night."
She shook her head again.
I couldn't help but be happy at that moment.
Addison
Troy drove us to a little park next to the river.
"So Addison"
"So Troy"
He chuckled, "tell me about yourself." I said, and he did, kind of.
Nothing personal. But he told me fake stories about himself for 2 hours, all of them made me laugh.
He would always laugh at my laugh.
I layed down on the grass, looking into the vast sky, and the millions of stars.
Troy layed down next to me, and we turned our heads so we were face to face.
"The sky is pretty" He sighed
I nodded my head in agreement.
"Are you going to ask about me?" I asked
"Nah." He shrugged, I sat up quickly, confused.
"Why not??"
"I don't know.. it's fun not knowing things about people. I like the mystery, the chase for answers, and gradually finding out all the important things. The things that matter. You know? Why waste time with stuff that we don't care about?"
I frowned, "You don't care about what I have to say?" and looked at the ground
He sat up, "Of course I care what you have to say. Are you crazy? I just don't want to know everything about you... Not yet anyway. I want to know things as they come up, as they happen, on accident, I don't know...just, not when I ask."
"Oh..." I whispered, I looked up again at Troy, I hadn't noticed that as he was talking, he was progressively moving closer to me.
My eyes darted back and forth between his eyes and mouth before finally locking eyes with him.
He pressed his forhead against mine, and I closed my eyes.
I could feel his nose tracing against mine, and the tops of our lips not even a centimeter apart.
My heart started racing, but I didn't move.
After a few seconds I opened my eyes.
Troy smiled with the side of his lips,
"You should get home."
Troy helped me get up and we walked to the car
My heart sank.
The car ride was silent
I'm assuming I looked upset, because when we pulled up to the side of my house Troy told me, "Don't look so upset Addison. You just spent a couple hours with the coolest guy around," he chucked
"Goodnight Troy"
I closed the door and started walking across my lawn
"Addison"
He called out of the passenger window, I spun around waiting for him to finish
"Kiss me when you're sure you like me."

Chapter Eleven
Addison
I bit my lip as Troy walked away.
"You totally like him." Jenna exclaimed after watching the expression on my face.
"I do not!" I told her. I told myself that too.
Even though, deep down I knew it was a lie.
But hey, fake it until you make it.
"Addy please, stop fooling yourself. He obviously likes you too"
"No he doesn't. He talks to everyone like that, he's a flirt."
"He definitely doesn't. Next time he asks you out,go." She smiled
I did too, but it was fake.
*****
"Addison? Hi, It's Troy."
Troy did call me, it was 7:30 on a Tuesday night, when he called.
"Hi Troy." I said softly
"What's up?"
I sighed, "Nothing."
"Sounds fun."
Silence, from the both of us.
"Are you going to the Sadie's Hawking dance thing on Friday?" He asked me.
Honestly I forgot all about it. The concept of having an entire dance dedicated to dressing up all country like, and making girls ask guys irritates me.
Not completely sure why.
If a girl wants to ask a guy out. She should. She shouldn't wait for some stupid dance once a year to do it.
I guess I got lost in my thoughts for too long,
"Addison?" Troy called through the phone
"Oh sorry. I might go"
"Did you ask anyone?" He asked immediately
"No."
"Oh," he paused "Why not?"
"I don't want to."
"Oh"
"How about you, someone must have asked you"
I waited for his answer.
Troy
Addison was waiting for my answer.
What was I supposed to tell her?
Yeah! Actually 3 girls asked me!
3 different girls asked me. But I don't want any one of them.
I want you.
Ask me already, dammit.
Addison Moore.
I guess I waited too long before answering
"You don't have to tell me.." She sounded upset
"No no, sorry. I'm doing some homework" I lied. "I'm going with Taylor Green"
"Oh, Shes nice.."
"Yeah" I agreed.
But she isn't you, Addison.
"What are you doing right now?" I asked
"Me? Right now?"
"Yes."
"Just, in my room... talking to you."
"Okay, good. I'll be there in 15 minutes, get ready. We're going out"
"No. Troy. We aren't." She said sternly.
"Fine. I'm coming in then."
"Troy. Its a kind gesture but, it's a Monday and my parents..."
I hung up and headed over to Addisons.

Chapter Ten
Troy
"I don't know Ryan, she just doesn't like me." I was talking to Ryan about Addison.
"I don't know what to tell you right now Troy. Except," he paused "here comes Chelsea"
I groaned and hit my head on the inside of my locker.
"Troy.."
I turned slowly
"Yes?"
Her eyes were full of sympathy, "I don't remember...exactly what, happened the other night but, you and me? We aren't ever going to be a thing."
"Yeah.. I know" I said in a confused tone
"Goodbye. Don't talk to me"
And she stormed off.
I shot out a burst of laughter and tilted my head back, to see Addison walking down the hallway, deep in conversation with Jenna.
I watched her walk down the hallway, slowly coming closer to me and I started to smile
Ryan snapped me out of my daze "Troy. You look like an idiot. Go talk to her"
"I don't know, she already doesn't like me, I don't want her to hate me"
"Addison!" Ryan yelled and I glared at him,
"Yeah?" She stepped next to me, out of everyone elses way, Jenna beside her.
"My buddy Troy here" he put his arm on my shoulder and smiled "Wanted to talk to you but was too nervous" then stuck out his bottom lip, frowning.
Addison giggled, I looked down at her and I smiled as if what Ryan said didn't make me look like a complete whimp.
When I turned to talk to Ryan he was gone.
"Are you going to tell me what you wanted to say, or..."
I laughed, nervously "Ah, he was just, messing around"
She nodded "Oh uh.. okay?"
"I'll call you later" I winked, closed my locker and headed to class.
I turned my head around to see Addison one more time,
she was watching me and her face was bright red.
I smiled at her as I turned again and continued walking.

Chapter Nine
*Last Chapter was supposed to be 8, not 7, sorry!*
Addison
"Troy! Uh hi"
"What are you doing today?"
"I'm at the mall, with my friend Jenna, how'd you get my number?"
"Oh, a friend of mine asked your brother."
Everyone knows my brother.
"Okay.. why?"
"Nevermind, it was nothing."
And he hung up.
"What did he want?" Jenna asked
I shrugged, "No idea"
We went from store to store, only buying a few things.
"Ooo Food Court. Lets go!" Jenna dragged me to a chinese vendor.
We got our food and found a table.
Jenna sighed "So, what's going on with this Nick kid, and I guess Troy?"
"Well.." I took in a breath of air "After you left Nick kissed me. But then last night at the bonfire I wasn't ready for a relationship and then Troy drove me home, told me I was pretty and then just called me."
I looked at Jenna, she was rolling her eyes "Addie. It's been 2 years, how are you not ready for a relationship?"
"I'm just not! I don't want to go out with Nick."
"Is it just Nick that you don't want to go out with?" She smirked
"What do you mean.." Though I knew what she ment
"Troy?"
"I don't even know him!" I felt my face turn red just thinking about the possibility of dating someone like Troy. "No, I don't, I wouldn't. It wouldn't work."
"Whatever Addie."
We finished eating while Jenna told me all about her plans for winter break.
"I love Christmas music!" Jenna twirled in the middle of the mall as the music played in the background, "Come on Addie! Dance!"
I laugh "No way, you're insane!"
"Totally weird. Unless you're dancing with someone else, then it's not AS weird" I turned quickly to the voice that wasn't Jenna's "But if you just stand there watching me dance, thats a little crazy."
Troy grabbed my hand and pulled me into the center of the empty square.
I resisted as much as I could "No, stop!" but I couldn't hold back a genuine laugh.
Jenna looked to me and smiled, then sat on a bench looking at her phone.
"This is nice" Troy said as we spun around to the music
"What are you doing here"
"You ask a lot of questions Addison. Just enjoy these moments"
"You avoid a lot of answers Troy."
"I'm just Christmas shopping" He grinned
"Alone?"
"Another question Addison. Yes alone, how am I to buy someone a Christmas present if they are with me?"
I sighed. "Okay.Can we stop now? People are staring."
"Another one! No we can't. The song isn't over, thats rude. Beside, why do you care if people are staring? They're missing out!"
"You. You are crazy"
"In a good or bad way?"
"I thought you don't care what others think"
He smiled "Just curious"
"I haven't decided yet."
"So this means we are hanging out again? This is not my idea of a first date"
I pulled away, "This isn't a date at all"
"Exactly. Which is why we need to have one"
I shook my head, "No, we don't."
"This isn't even-"
"A date! I get it,it's not a date. There won't be one either, okay?"
I turned on my heels and walked quickly,
"Why not!?"
He called after me, throwing his arms in the air, onto his thighs. He shook his head back and forth.
Jenna hurried and stood in front of me, stopping me in my path.
"What was that? It was all, cute then you storm off?"
I bit my bottom lip,
"I will not fall for someone, like Troy."

Chapter Seven
Troy
I was awaken at 3 am by my doorbell, I ran downstairs before my dad woke up,
"Chelsea?" I closed the door behind me, "What are you doing?"
She looked like a raccoon, her make-up was running down her face
"You- left. me Troy!" She said in between sniffles, still crying
"I told you I was leaving Chelsea and you didn't want to go"
"This was... our..date! You suck Troy!"
She reeked of Alcohol "Chelsea are you drunk?"
"Troy. This isn't about me. You'd make a horrible boyfriend. Jerk."
"You're right, did you drive here?"
"Yes. I did. I didn't want to stay home and be upset.."
"You can't drive Chelsea, you're drunk." I wrapped my arm around her waist and started to walk back inside
"Don't tell me what to do Troy!" She yelled trying to push my arm away
"Come on."
Eventually she came inside, I let her sleep in my room and I slept on the couch.

"Dude Chelsea stayed at your house last night? She was so drunk, how was she?" Ryan punched my arm
"We didn't do anything Ryan. I took another girl to her house and went home. Chelsea was knocking on my door at 3 am"
"And you didn't do anything?"
"Nothing"
"Well why not!" He laughed, I did too. I figured that was the best response
Ryan and I had been friends since we were 6. Our families are friends so we go on vacations together, schools together, and even work together.
"I don't like Chelsea. Morgan tried to set me up with her but, she's just not for me I guess" I was going to tell him about Addison.
"Yeah but, she's hot. Maybe Morgan can set me up" he winked and laughed,
"Yeah, ha. There's this other girl though"
Ryan stopped what he was doing and glared at me "Who?"
"Do you know who Addison Moore is?"
"Sorry I'm late. I had to take care of my best friend" Morgan scowled as she walked into work.
"Hi Morgan." I said politely
"Shut up, Troy."
Ryan and I exhanged glances, he gave me a quick nod, and a thumbs up. Probably referring to Addison, so I nodded back.
"Why did you just up and leave last night?!" Morgan said sharply
"I didn't! I told her I was leaving but she didn't want to go!"
Morgan sighed "You were supposed to wait for her, like a good boyfriend."
I groaned, "She's not my girlfriend and wasn't going to be."
"Then why'd you take her out!?"
"YOU set it up! I didn't even want to!"
"Well, YOU agreed to it"
"I wasn't paying attention to her when I did"
"Then who were you paying attention to Troy?" Morgan crossed her arms
"I had my mind on another girl." I smirked
My eyes met Morgans. I could see the rage and anger that was building.
"F/ck you Troy Porter"
And she stormed into the back.
Ryan raised his eyebrowns and made a cat meow
"Wanna cover for me today?" I smiled
"I guess"
"Thanks man"
I had other plans for today.

Chapter Seven
Addison
I wasn't heart broken this time when someone said they needed to talk, and led me away from everyone.
Not this time.
So I had to make sure it wouldn't happen again. I told him I wasn't ready for a relationship, and he said that he wasn't either.
So now we're just friends.
Just friends.
I was fine with that.
Or so I thought.
I sat alone for the rest of the fire.
Watching everyone else party and drink.
This wasn't where I wanted to be at the moment.
I stood up and walked back to the parking lot, and remembered Nick was my ride home. So I sat in the parking lot and called my mom.
"I can give you a ride home"
I jumped, startled by the deep voice behind me
Troy.
"Um, its alright my mom will be here an-"
"I'm leaving now."
His voice was commanding, so I listened "Okay" I stood and jogged to catch up with him.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked
Troy smiled, "Because I can"
I looked at the ground "oh.." I mumbled
He chuckled "Where am I taking you?"
I told him my address and we drove off

"Why have you suddenly been talking to me and taking me home?" I asked bluntly.
Troy seemed startled by the question,
"Is it wrong for a guy to talk to a girl he thinks is pretty?"
I was taken back by what he said,
"Oh uhm.. I guess not." I sat in silence momentarily "You think I'm pretty?"
Troy looked at me, "Of course I do, doesn't everyone?"
I held back a smile, covering my bottom lip with the top,
"I, I don't th- this house here.Thank you"
"Good night Addison"
"Good night, Troy"

Chapter Six
Troy
I walked away moments after she did.
I looked over my shoulder watching her, and smiled when I noticed she was looking over her shoulder. I had her attention. I loved it.
Addison stood with her group but her eyes were still on me, I was so happy I could barely hold back the huge smile that was desperatly trying to show.
"You didn't get me anything?" Chelsea whined,
Usually I would have got up and got her a drink, or be offended by her attitude, but Addy was still watching me, and I couldn't be a bad guy when she was looking at me.
"Oh, sorry. Here you can have mine" I handed Chelsea the cup
"Aw thanks Troy! You're so sweet"
"Yeah, no problem" I mumbled to Chelsea
"Troy?" I turned my head to Morgan "What are you looking at?"
"Oh um.. the waves, they're pretty" I lied about the waves. I was looking at something else that was pretty.
I looked back at Addison, but this time her full attention was somewhere else, on someone else. Now that I look closely it was different then the way she was staring at me. It was a longing stare, so I followed it and it led me to, a guy.
Did she have a boyfriend?
No, please no.
Addison
There he was. Nick.
I watched him as he walked slowly towards me. I gave him a soft, apologetic smile.
"Can we talk?"
My heart started racing as Nick grabbed my hand and led me to the parking lot.
Not this again, no.
No, please no.
Troy
The kid grabbed her hand and led her to the parking lot, so I followed them.
"Troy, where are you going?" Chelsea asked grabbing my finger tips
"I need to call my dad"
I jogged off and ducked behind a car, where I could see them but they couldn't see me.
He hugged her, and I could see his jaw moving, he was talking to her.
And what ever he was saying made her smile,
smile a beautiful smile.
It made me smile.
She stood on her tip toes and kissed him.
I went from crouching down, to balancing on my knees, then just falling to the ground.
I couldn't believe this.
I couldn't hear the foot steps that crept up behind me.
It was the other guy.
"Hey bro, uh.. you alright?"
I looked at him and squinted my eyes "Yeah. Bud."
"Okay cool but, you're blocking my car."
Great.
"Sorry man." I stood up and dragged myself back to Morgan and Chelsea.
I couldn't believe this.

Chapter Five
Troy
I pulled into Chelsea's exactly at 7.
20 minutes later she got in the car.
"Hey, sorry! I didn't see your car" She hugged me from the passanger seat leaning across the car.
"Its alright" I sighed and started to drive
"Ooo are we going to starbucks??" Chelsea grinned
"If you want to" I didn't take my eyes off the road.
Chelsea didn't really get that I didn't want to ask her out.

"Here." I handed Chelsea her drink
She led me to a table in the back of the store.
"I'm so happy you asked me out!"
I quickly looked up from the table and gave a half smile, raising my eyebrows, "Yeah" I scratched my head
Chelsea said, "What are we doing after this?" Like this wasn't good enough.
"Uh" I shook my head for a moment while I thought, "Theres a bonfire at the beach I guess we could go to"
Chelsea's face lit up, "That would be amazing! I'm so excited"
I puffed my cheeks and smiled "Yep, ready?"
Chelsea followed me to my car and we drove to the beach, she talked the entire time. Honestly? I could care less
"Oh there's Morgan! Want to go sit with her?" Chelsea grabbed my hand and pulled me with her.
"Hi guys!" Morgan waved and motioned for us to sit down.
I heard Morgan and Chelsea start to talk and whisper about me, and everyone at the bonfire while I looked around at who was there.
I did a double take, and stood up,
"I'm going to get a drink" I told Chelsea as I walked away
"Hey, I think we met earlier today, Troy" I extended my hand
"Oh.. yeah. Addy" She smiled, denying the hand shake.
Strike one Troy.
"So, you come here often?"
Stirke two.
"Um," She laughed softly, "At the occasional party I guess"
I laughed at her laugh, it was cute.
"Yeah, me too"
I watched her eyes dart around, uncomfortaby. "Well I'm going to go back to.. over there." She pointed to a group of people,
and left.

Chapter Four
Addison
"Nick..Hi, what- what are you doing here?"
Nick just moved into the house across the street and everything about him just seems, right.
I barely know him but I do know that he's the first boy, since I was 14 that I felt this way about.
I couldn't really describe it though,
he was just right in the way he was.
Not in what he did.
"Uh well, I was going to ask for your brother but since you answered," He chuckled "Do you want to hang out?"
We held eye contact for a minute, what a strange question when you think about it. 'Want to hang out'
I smiled, of course I did
"Yeah that sounds cool, but uh my friend, Jenna is. You can come upstairs if you want"
So Nick followed me upstairs, and into my room.
"Jenna, this is my neighbor, Nick."
Jenna waved and continued on her phone, then looked up again
"Hi" She was blunt, "You're really cute."
Nick laughed uncomfortablly but thanked her,
"My mom's here Addy, I'll see you later." She winked at me,
and I grinned.
The three of us walked downstairs with Jenna as she left.
"So," Nick put his hands in his pockets and walked around my house.
"This is cool" He said picking up a guitar
"Thats my Dads, its really old I think"
"Can I play it?"
"I don't know, can you?" I smiled
"I can try"
We walked over to the couch and he started to strum the guitar and sing.
I couldn't help but grin the entire time, he was so talented.
He was, right.
As I looked down at my fidgeting fingers he stopped playing, I heard the guitar being placed on the floor and all of a sudden his face was right in front of me, and his lips were lifting mine closer to him.
I layed down and his body gently pressed ontop of me.
"WOAH- WHAT"
I could feel Nicks startled body shoot up, as he collapsed on the other side of the couch. I held in a giggle and ran my fingers through my hair.
"Anthony...go back upstairs." I glared at him
Nick shot a quick and concerned look at me,
"You go upstairs." Anthony wandered around into the kitchen
"I--should probably go now," Nick stood up wiping his hand across his chin.
I swiveled my head at Anthony then to Nick, "I'll see you later"
And he left.

Chapter Three
Addison
“Addison.” I saw him mouth as I turned away.
He told me his name, it was…
Troy.
Troy, who had dark hair and bright eyes.
“They didn’t have it” I told Jenna as I got in the car.
“Oh Bummer... So are we going to your place or mine?”
I sighed; I knew Jenna wanted me to say my house. So I started to drive that way.
Jenna and I are best friends so I know everything about her, she knows everything about me.
Kind of.
And one thing I know about her is that she likes my older brother.
It’s not that surprising though. Everyone likes him.
Everyone loves my older brother.
They love my father, and they love my mother.
Not me.
They don’t love me.
They like me, but
No one loves me the same way they love them.
I pulled into the driveway, and then Jenna and I walked up to my room
“So… are we the only ones here?” Jenna questioned
Clearly she only cared to see if my brother was around.
“ANTHONY” I shouted
He stumbled out of his bedroom running his hand through his hair
“What?” He looked as though he had just woke up,
Jenna was standing next to me awkwardly, trying not to stare directly at Anthony.
“Hey Jenna” he said rubbing his eyes, and tried to whisper
“Addie, why didn’t you tell me you’d be home so soon?”
I looked Jenna then back to him, “Why does it matter?”
Anthony closed his door and smiled nervously, “It doesn’t”
“Okay…” I looked at him suspiciously and turned into my bedroom
“Your brother was acting weird.” Jenna said when I closed the door
“Oh… yeah he-“
“Addie,” Anthony opened my door a crack waiting for my reply
“Yes?”
“Can I um, borrow some of your sweatpants and a shirt?”
Jenna glared at the door and back to me.
“Oh you need them?” I asked sarcastically
He rolled his eyes
“Ha, ha….Please?”
I stood up slowly and grabbed the clothes Anthony asked for.
“Here” I shoved them into his arms and snorted “Pig”
My brother and I got along real well, but that didn’t mean he still wasn’t a player. We don’t talk much about his love life because I don’t want to know about all the girls he’s been with. And I’m sure he doesn’t remember.
Jenna’s eyes were darting around the room
“What’s wrong?”
They stopped automatically on me.
“Huh?”
“What’s, wrong?” I asked again
“Nothing” She smiled, and I looked at her as though I was unconvinced.
She was lucky to be interrupted by the doorbell, or I would have continued to question her until she told me what was wrong.
I walked back downstairs to get the door and that’s when I ran into my brothers new ‘girlfriend’
“Hello” I smiled “I like your shirt”
I continued downstairs and opened the door.
Standing there was a boy with his hands in his pockets and was looking at the ground so I couldn’t see his face,
“Can I help you?”
The boy slowly rose his head and looked stunned,
“Addison! …Hi” He smiled weakly, and I looked at him momentarily figuring out what I wanted to say.

Chapter Two
Troy
"Troy, pay attention!" Morgan shouted
"Sorry.."
She rolled her eyes,
"This is what you're going to do. Chelsea likes you, so you're going to be a good guy, and ask her out. Take her for coffee then to the park for a walk. She loves that."
I wasn't listening to what Morgan was saying, there was a girl walking around the store that I couldn't take my eyes off of.
"Troy! Are you even listening to me?! This is important."
"Oh.. uh, no. I don't, what??" I said, still looking at the girl wondering around
"You. and Chelsea, date tomorrow night, okay?"
"Sure, yeah. Um, one second"
I ran to the girl.
"Can I help you find something?"
The girl looked startled, "Uh, I don't, no..thank you."
"Oh, well, if you need anything, my names Troy" I smiled at her waiting for an answer.
She just looked at me, "Okay."
I quickly and uncomfortably looked around.
I tried to see if there was anything that could tell me her name,
maybe a bag, or button.
Nothing.
So I walked back to the counter, never truely looking away from her.
"Whats wrong with you?" Morgan poked my shoulder
"Oh I uh, nothing?"
"Chelsea is here! Ready?" Morgan pushed my aside
"Hi Morgan... Hi Troy" Chelsea blushed and smiled at me, so I smiled back.
I quickly turned my gaze back to the girl wondering around the store while Morgan and Chelsea kept talking.
"And thats when Troy told me he wanted to ask you something..."
Morgan paused.
"He wanted to ask you something...."
Morgan coughed getting my attention, "Oh yeah sorry. Um Chelsea.." I stuttered.
I wasn't nervous about asking Chelsea out, I'd just rather ask out the girl who was walking around the store.
"Yes Troy?" Chelsea batted her make-up covered eyelashes.
"Want to go out for coffee later?" I asked, looking straight over her shoulder.
Chelsea jumped and hugged me
"Of course! Pick me up around...7?"
The girls eyes met mine, and she watched Chelsea hug me,
but I smiled, and she turned away.
I told Chelsea "that's fine"
"Excuse me"
Chelsea turned to see who was behind her, "oh.....sorry..." she snickered.
It was the girl, I asked "Can I help you with something?"
"I just need to check out"
She put her stuff on the counter and paid.
But before she left, I had to know her name.
"Wait," I called after her "whats your name?"
She turned and smiled, "Addison" and waved with her first two fingers
I smiled and mumbled to myself,
"Addison"

Chapter One
Troy
I was 14 years old the first time I ever saw her.
She was radiant, I'm sure everyone was drawn to her just like I was.
I just wanted to walk up to her and introduce myself, and to tell her how beautiful
she was.
But my coach called me back to the field before I got the chance.
I screwed up a lot that game, I was to busy thinking and looking for that girl.
I wanted to know about her.
I'm 16 now.
I haven't forgotten about that girl.
I still think about her, and wonder where she is.
It's hard.
Not knowing her name, or where she is, who she is.
It's hard.
Because I still want to know, so bad.
I bet she's still beautiful,
Or even prettier.
I still think about her.
It's hard.
I know she doesn't think about me,
she doesn't know me.
I don't know her.
Addison
I was 14 years old the first time I had my heart broken.
We had been dating a year and a half the night he broke up with me.
We were at a football game with some of our friends, he took my hand and pulled me behind the bleachers, I thought nothing was wrong.
We loved each other.
"Addy, I don't think things are working out."
"What do you mean?"
"I think we should break up"
Break up.
But we loved each other.
So I thought, stupid, naive, 14 year old me, thought I was in love.
So I swore I wouldn't fall again.
Not like I did for him.
I'm 16 now.
I still think about him.
I know I shouldn't, and it's hard.
Its bad for me to still think about the kid who broke me.
But I can't help it.
I get mad at myself because I know,
he doesn't think about me.
I don't even know him anymore.
He doesn't know me.
