"Odette, please wake up, please!" screamed a familiar voice. I opened my eyes slowly blinking at the sight of light. I stared at my mom, her eyes full of tears. "Omygod, thank God your alright!" screamed my mom crying even harder. "Where am i?" "You're in the hospital, sweetie." said a voice from behind. I looked up seeing my grandma in a chair, and someone next to her, but who? My mom pushed me back and forced me to lay down and take a nap. " I have to go to the bathroom, i havent gone for hours, be right back." my mom said. Once she left my grandma got up and hugged me tightly then sat on my bed. "So, you didn't tell me that you date was a hero, and a stud." "What the heck are you talking about grandma!" I screamed. " My date is not a hero, and not a stud, he's a jerk, don't even know why I accepted his offer." "We'll whoever the guy who saved you is HOT!" "GRANDMA WHO THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!" I screamed. " You know the boy who you were walking with earlier. Who ran through a thunder and lightning storm, carrying you to the hospital." "He did that?" "Yep, and now he refuses to leave, but that's okay; hes a good view." I blushed with embarrassment and then looked over and saw him sleeping in the chair. My grandma tapped on me and signaled she was going to give us some privacy. I watched her leave the room and then i just layed back and started to rest till, "So your grandma thinks I'm a hot, stud and you think I'm a stalker?" Derek said to me while smirking at me. I smiled back, tried my hardest not to laugh. "Derek, I just want to thank you for bringing me to the hospital, but what did I have to come to the hospital for?" "You don't remember?" i shook my head. "Once you stood up you were hit be lightning and completley knocked out and I was shocked and scared and i literally stood their frozen staring at you for maybe ten minutes before i picked you up and ran you to the hospital." I stared at him shocked myself, didn't realize that happened to me. Then I looked amazed I mean i knew Derek would have brought me to the hospital, but maybe in a car. I wouldn't have thought he would have down all that for me. He was my hero!
