Hello bestfriend
Just thought it was time I wrote this down
I would be a completely different person if i'd never known you.
Probably a happier one
You've hurt me more than you will ever know
and you continue to hurt me more and more each day
I know it sounds weird that my bestfriend is also the one who's damaged me the most, but it's true.
And I would never lie to you
The thing is:
you don't know that you're causing me pain
because you don't hurt me with spiteful words or actions.
You hurt me when you cry
When you feel worthless
When you feel like your best just isn't good enough
because my greatest fear is that i won't be able to stop you from falling
Stop you from falling into that black, endless hole where you're deepest fears were reality.
where you were alone and scared and unloved.
And it scares me everyday that you will fall
and when you do you won't be able to get out
That your insecurities and nightmares will win and you will be lost to me forever.
I know you will never love yourself
but I also know i will never stop trying to convince you that you're worth loving.
I will never give up on you
