oh your from England?? thats awesome! and well theres elementary school from when your about 5 years old to 13 years old. and they go by grades. 1st grade starts when your 5. and 8th grade starts when your about 13. After you've finished elementary school, you go onto high school. These are grades 9-12 from ages 14-18. 9th grade is called freshman year, 10th grade is called sophomore year, 11th grade is junior year, and 12th grade is senior year. and homecoming is just a huge dance that all high schools have once a year...it's pretty fun because you dress up and you can go with a date or in a big group of friends(:
