Moving On
Chapter 1
As i passed by all the Valentine decorations in the halls i wanted to barf.
It was definitely my least favorite holiday. All the hearts and the stuffed teddy bears that people give to their "soulmate."
Well i think it is just a bunch of bullshuz.
I have had one serious relationship, with a guy named Jake. He practically shredded my heart when he left me for that birch Janelle. I was madly in love with him, the type of love where you get tingles by the slightest touch, i thought he felt the same way.
I haven't moved on since he told me 6 months ago, i just couldn't.
That doesn't mean i dont hate him though. If we had the type of love where i got tingles at the slightest touch, i now have the type of hatred for him where i want to punch him in the face every time i see him with her.
I know it is time I get over him and start dating again, but I know I will never find anyone that made me feel the way he did.
As i was thinking this, I passed by the rose stand(a tradition in our school.)
Pink for friendship, red for relationship, I like you, I love you, and anything else in that category.
Sometimes the cheerleaders would send red ones to a loner, or a nerd, which makes me sick, but what can i do about it?
I recieve plenty of pink ones each year, i have really amazing friends, and a lot of them too.
Which is why i decided to stop and buy one for my bestfriend, Lily.
I wrote on the little card attactched to the rose, I love you my lil' munchkin with a heart.
It was worth my $1.50.
I call her my lil' munchkin because she is about 5ft tall and were in 11th grade,
but with her long blonde hair and her sea blue eyes it doesnt really matter.
Guys love her, so that's why i was so surprised when Jake came up to us in the diner that saturday morning and asked for MY number, when she was sitting right across from me.
UGH, why can't i still not stop thinking about him!? This makes me so mad.
Just as I'm putting the pink rose in the basket I hear a voice scream "JANETTE!"
I turn around to see Lily waving at me with a big smile on her face, showing off her perfectly straight pearly whites.
Walking behind her is(speak of the devil) Jake, staring at me with that intense look of his.
