Today, I met this guy who has done so much to prevent bullying amongst teens. He's always there for pretty much anyone, he's created a Facebook group for people to post their stories, and he's even written a book. The reason he tries to help out with everyone is because he too, has had problems with bullying in his past. Today, when I talked to him, it was only for a few minutes, and I didn't even mention the bullying, but you could literally see the hurt in his eyes.
That's what killed me the most; the fact that despite all that he's done for the teens in our community, he's just as vulnerable as everyone else.

I think it's funny how there was that one week where Steve made it so you couldn't put a format on your quote, but now practically nobody uses one anymore...

    New Girl
    open for name suggestions!
    CHAPTER 1:
I took a deep breath and closed my eyes.
Breathing out, I twisted the door knob and pushed it open.
This was it, this was my new home.
I opened my eyes, and felt my jaw drop.
    It was huge.
My parents had kept it a surprise, they wanted to "add to the experience".
And it really was a surprise, I had no idea we could afford such a big house.
Back home in Ohio, my parents were always talking about how tight money was, until my dad got a new job.
Things were starting to look up; things were starting to get better.
Until my mom broke the news to me: as soon as school got out, we were moving.
Moving away from all of my friends that I'd known since I was born.
Which reminded me, I had been lashing out towards my parents for forcing us to move, and standing there with my jaw open made it look like I was happy with the new house, so I clenched my jaw shut.
Don't get me wrong, I really was happy.
The house was ginormous, with the beach just a mile or two away, and a pool in the back yard.
It was wide open, obviously since nothing was in it yet, but even once we filled it with our stuff it would still have plenty of space.
There were two sets of stairs that met together in the middle. A large chandelier hung above our heads, and other than that, the house was completely empty.
"Well?" asked my mom, stepping forwards, opening her arms out wide.
She turned to me & my siblings: Max, age 6 and Caroline, age 8.
    "How do you like it?"
"It's awesome!" yelled Max, running up the long staircase.
Of course Max loved it, he was too young to care that we just moved 2,500 miles away from our old home.
Caroline smiled and said "Yeah, it's pretty cool!" chasing after Max.
My mom glanced at me, begging for an answer.
I just shrugged, and walked back outside to help my older brother Steven, 17, and my dad get stuff out of the car.
    Tell me what you think!
If you like it, don't be afraid to follow me, there's more to come :)

:)
