Today my school had no moment of silence for the victims of 9/11.
All they said was
" You know what today is?"
That was it.
I sat there silently for the entire class period.

This is a note my cousin wrote on facebook. She lives in Colorado where all of the huge fires are. Please pray for her and for all the other families. Fav if you pray keep scrolling if you don't... it's your choice.
Reality just hit me. Hard. I just want to go home, but I can't. The fire is too close. Too close for comfort. About two hundred fifty homes have been burned to nothing. Almost twenty thousand acres have been scorched and burned in only five days. Firefighters are exhausted and have been sacrificing so much for us and fighting what seems like an impossible battle. They sleep whenever and wherever t...hey can. There is a sickening amount of evacuees including my family as well as many other friends and other families. But we are very blessed to be staying with family. But even though all of this has been very hard, prayers have been answered. Hope has not been lost. We will never stop fighting this monster, until we win, until we have beaten the beast. We can do this. I know in my heart that in the end everything will be okay. It may take a while but in the end we will all be okay. Please pray for the firefighters, the evacuees, and for this awful fire to be ended. Thanks for all the love and support ya'll have already shown.
