The Best Summer Ever
Chapter 4; part 2
25 minutes later, Lexi and I were at the mall, trying on bikinis. "And take this on too! Just in case!" Lexi said, as she sent another bikini into the dressing room.
"Lexi! I have enough now!" I said laughing.
"We have to find the perfect one! And I think this one will look good on you!" she exclaimed from right outside the door.
I couldn't help but smile. I knew she was doing this to try to take my mind off of Noah, and I had to admit, it was actually kind of fun.
I peeled off a bright pink bright pink bikini, ready to try on a new one. I decided to try the one Lexi had just given me, which was covered with a blue, purple, pink, black, gray, & white pattern. Once I had it on, I turned around, looking at it from the sides. Lexi was right. This one was by far my favorite. It fit perfectly. I quickly changed back into my clothes, gathered up everything I had tried on, and stepped out of the dressing room. Lexi was standing there looking flawless in a neon yellow & gray striped bikini.
"Which one?" Lexi asked excitedly.
"This one," I said, holding up the one I had chosen.
"I told you!" she said poking me.
"Are you getting that one?" I asked, poking her back.
"Yeah! Does it look ok on me?" she asked.
"Yeah!" I said, returning the bathing suits I wasn't buying, and walking over to the cash register. I decided to get a pair of simple gray flip flops too. Lexi went to change back into her clothes, while I payed for my things.
