I'd like to tell you more, but I'd not sure if I know myself well enough. Though I don't know if that's an apology or an excuse to stop talking.
 
I like to write. I started writing when I was twelve because the voices in my head told me too. That would seem weird if they weren't characters who wanted a better setting than inside my head. I'm sixteen now, and no closer to my ultimate writing goal (write anything) than when I started, except maybe a little more knowledgeable on what not to do. AKA, "Things you should never do."
 
Don't write to please anyone but yourself.
Don't sweat the small stuff.
Don't second guess yourself.
Don't try to make confetti crayon shavings unless you want your house to be crayola-fied.
 
And things you should never do under any circumstances. Never,
 
Trust anyone who insists their way is the only way.
Take advice from someone on the internet who can't spell.
Try and mix up that recipe "just a little" because you think you're an awesome baker.
Wear that white outfit to a restaurant because you'll "be extra careful to keep it clean."
Upset a cat.
Trust a cat.
Bathe a cat.
 
I know a lot of these from experience.
