About Me:

Hey girls.  I write stories here on witty.  My friends and family don't know that I write cheesy love stories.  I have another account for all my quotes.

I'm in high school.  I enjoy all types of music, long showers, the beach,  I'm left-handed, and I dream that one day people can accept me for who I am.

Thanks girls!

    Chapter 12
I looked outside the window from my bedroom.
It had rained last night, so now everything is wet. I grabbed a light jacket and walked on down to the country club where I worked as a lifeguard. I'm probably going to have to work in the indoor pool today,
because nobody would want to be outside swimming on a day like this.
    ...
On my lunch break, I got a call from an unknown number.
I pick it up. "Hello, Miss Faith Casway. I'm from the University of London. I would like to inform you that you have been accepted.
We understand if you are still unsure about your decision on what college you are planning on going to yet, but I think you would fit in well here in London. Please think about this. Orintation starts September 2nd. We would love to see you there."
I put down my phone with only one thought in my head.
    "What about Blaise?"
    I know it's a super short chapter.
The next one will be longer, I promise.
I hope to post again soon in the next couple of days, if I can.

    Chapter 11
    Faith's P.O.V.
I walked down to the corner store on the way to the beach to buy a bag of chips for the barbeque the whole gang was having tonight.
In the store, I see Alexa buying drinks for the dinner, as well.
I wave over to her and we walk down to the beach together.
As we were walking she says, "So I hear you and Blaise have some chemistry going on?" I smiled and replied, "Well I thought we did, but he was just leading me on. Did you know he has a girlfriend back in Florida?"
She stopped walking and asked, "Are you talking about Rachel? They broke up months ago. She was cheating on him. He's been single for a while now."
    My eyes widened in surprise.
And I was just about to reply when I realized we were already at the beach,
and Katie was running up to us in her new orange bikini.
    ...
The next day I walked over to Blaise's house.
I rang the doorbell and his mom answered the door.
"Hi! Is Blaise home right now?" I asked.
"Oh yes sweetie, he's just upstairs in his room. You can go see him if you like."
"Thanks," I replied, and walked upstairs.
I opened up the door to find Blaise laying on his bed, headphones in his ears, listening to music. He looked over at the door when he heard me come in and sat up. He took out his earphones and said,
    "Hey Faith! What's up?"
"Blaise do you have a girlfriend?" I asked. He paused for a moment. He wasn't smiling anymore.
After a minute he said, "I used to have a girlfriend named Rachel.
Her family moved down to Florida, and I heard she was cheating on me and broke it off.
But that was months ago, Faith. The truth is, I really like you."
I took a moment to process all of this. Then finally, I said"I like you too Blaise."
Then he leaned over and before I had any time to react.
    He kissed me.

    Chapter 10
    Tommy's P.O.V.
I walked down to the beach, brushing my black messy hair away from my face.
I saw Blaise down by the water looking off in the distance, obviously lost in thought.
When I got down there I said, "Hey man, what's up?"
    Blaise turned around.
You could tell he was upset about something.
"Faith never showed up, when I invited her to see the dolphins.
I was thinking about asking her out, today. I wonder why she didn't show."
He paused for a moment, then continued on saying,
"You my best man, Tommy. Do you think I did something wrong?"
I pat his back. "I would just forget about her if I were you. I heard she's looking into a University in London, and you and I both know how you are with long-distance relationships."
"But that's the problem," Blaise answered, "I can't forget about her. She's all I ever think about anymore."
I started getting angry. Every single girl that I've ever liked, including Faith, always ends up with Blaise.
Well this time, I'm getting the girl.
He is not going to steal Faith away from me. "Didn't you feel the same way about Rachel before she moved down to Florida?" I asked.
"No," Blaise responded quickly, "Rachel only liked me for my looks anyways. She cheated on me in Florida, too. But Faith, she's different. She actually listens to me. And whenever she smiles, her eyes twinkle just a little.
    She's not fake. She's real."
    Sorry I haven't posted in a while.
Things have been pretty hectic, lately.

    Chapter 9
    Faith's P.O.V.
I had today off from working at the countryclub.
Katie invited the whole gang down to the beach for dinner. We always did that on Friday nights.
Alexa works at the mall, and Katie works at the icecream parlor, downtown.
Friday was the only day we all had off. Sometimes during our lunch breaks,
we'd meet the guys at the icecream parlor,
and Katie would get us free icecream.
Both Blaise and Tommy have been showing me around, over the last couple of weeks.
Today, I was going to see Blaise because he said he would take me swimming with the dolphins.
I was just about to leave,
when I heard a knock on the door. I went to go get it, and I opened the front door to see Tommy.
I smiled, "Hey!" "Hey, Faith!" he replied.
He looked down and saw that I had my shoes on.
"Where you goin'?" he asked. "Oh Blaise invited me to go swim with the dolphins he works with. How cool is that?!"
Tommy paused for a second. Then after a minute he said,
"I've seen the way you look at Blaise. Do you like him?"
    That caught me by surprise.
"Kinda, I guess. Why do you ask?"
    Tommy patted my shoulder.
"Faith, I should tell you something." He stepped inside and led me to a chair.
I sat down confused, and said, "What's wrong?".
He replied, "I know it may seem that Blaise likes you, but he's just leading you on. You can't go out with him."
"Oh, why not?" I asked. This wasn't making any sense. "I thought he liked me," I said. Tommy sighed and replied,
    "Because he has a girlfriend."
Sorry, it's been a while since I've posted.
I'll try and have Chapter 10 up as soon as I can
    Love you all:)

    Chapter 8
I walked into the beautiful country club and went to the room where the interview was going to be held.
I signed up to be a lifeguard for the summer at the local country club
    and my interview was today.
I've been starting to look for scholorships for colleges, as well. Me and Blaise were talking more and more each day. I think I might be starting to like him.
But I've tried to keep those feelings at bay,
reminding myself why I'm here in South Carolina in the first place.
    To focus on my future.
I thought the lifeguarding job would be a good reminder for me,
that this trip isn't all about fun.
Katie took me shopping and to lunch with her and her friend Alexa, yesterday.
Alexa was the girl tanning next to her at the beach that day.
I got some calls already from colleges wanting me.
One of the schools was all the way out in London!
    Blaise's P.O.V.
The weeks were starting to fly by.
Faith was the only person on my mind these days.
Her wavy blonde hair, her soft blue eyes, and she had the cutest smile ever.
We've been getting pretty close lately.
Should I ask her out? Does she like me too?
    Tommy's P.O.V.
Over the last few weeks, Blaise and Faith seemed to be getting pretty close.
I've shone her cool places on the beach,
and took her with everyone else to the best restaurants in town.
    But whenever Blaise is around,
she only seems to have eyes for him.
And secretly, it kills me on the inside.
But what can I do to get her to stop liking Blaise?

    Chapter 7
After a while, Blaise stood up and said, "Race you to the ocean!"
I stood up after him, took off my tee shirt and shorts that were over my blue bathing suit and said,
"It's so on." He took off his shirt too and said, "Alright, 1...2..."
"Three!" I cut in and took off sprinting down the sand dune.
I heard him say, "Hey!" and about five seconds later,
I could hear his breath right behind me.
Finally, I got to the bottom and ran into the water.
I heard Blaise splash into the water behind me and say, "Cheater!" Then he splashed me.
I splashed him back and soon we were both fighting in the water,
both with grins on our faces.
We stopped eventually, both of our faces were pink and we were completely soaked.
    I heard Katie yell,
"Hey you two lovebirds! We started the fire ane are making smores now if you want some!"
We came out of the water laughing and joined the gang
    in roasting marshmellows.
I know another short chapter :/ I'll have 8 though either later tonight or tomorrow

    Chapter 6
The sun was setting, and the rest of the group was eating burgers from Tommy
who was manning the grill. I wasn't all that hungry, though.
So when no one was looking,
I put my earbuds in and walked down towards the sand dunes.
I took off my flip flops and carried them as I walked up the steep sand dune.
When I got to the top,
I sat down and hugged my knees as I watched the sunset.
When I was little me and my dog, Lucy, would go in our backyard and watch the sunset together side by side.
Even though she's all the way in Pennsylvania,
it still felt right to keep the old routine going.
And maybe she might be watching the sunset too,
and thinking about me just as I was thinking about her.
    Just then I heard something,
I looked down the steep hill and saw Blaise walking up the dune,
a confused look on his face.
When he got to the top he said,
"Hey whatcha doin' up here? People were wondering where you went."
I pointed at the sunset painted across the sky,
and his jaw dropped in realization of how much better you can see the sky
without all the smoke of the grills, volleyball nets, and the beach umbrellas.
    I offered an earbud,
and he sat down and together we listened to music as we watched the sunset.

    Chapter 5
I stared at my closet, my eyes searching for something to wear down at the beach. Eventually, I just gave up and grabbed a pair of jean shorts and a tee shirt to go over my blue bathing suit.
I grabbed a sweatshirt too, in case it got cold later that night at the bon fire.
I ran down stairs and called to my dad,
"Hey I'll be down at the beach tonight!"
I heard a faint 'Alright' coming from the basement
as I walked out the door.
When I got down to the beach,
I saw Katie waving at me and beaconing me to come over.
She was laying on a towel tanning with another girl,
while the boys were playing frisbee.
"Hey, Faith! How's your head feelin'?" she asked.
"Great!" I replied. I saw Tommy jog over here and he said,
"Faith! Do you wanna join us in our game of frisbee?"
I smiled and replied, "No thanks, I think getting hit in the head with a volley ball is good enough for me. I dont need another head injury from a frisbee too."
Tommy laughed and said, "Alright. We'll be setting up the grill in about an hour."
Everything was going great right now.
If this keeps up, this summer will be awesome!
But little did I know everything was about to get much more complicated.

    Chapter 4
    My jaw dropped in amazement
as I watched Blaise twirl his fingers and dolphins jumped up behind him.
He brushed his shaggy brown hair away from his eyes,
as he searched the crowd for one lucky kid to come up and pet, Star, one of their dolphins.
His eyes scanned the crowd, and then he saw me.
He smiled at me, winked, and picked a little girl in the front row to come down with him to pet Star.
I smiled to myself as he bent down, talking to the little girl.
    When the show was over,
Dad was planning on going to go get some food with me
from a really good restaurant he recommended.
We were walking down the stands when Blaise comes over.
“Hey, Faith! How did you like the show?”
“It was awesome! I had never seen a dolphin show before,”
I replied. Dad said, “Faith, I’ll be out in the car.”
“Alright Dad, I’ll be out there in 5.”
“So how’s your head feeling?” Blaise asked.
“Oh, it’s fine. Don’t worry about it,” I replied.
“I still want to make it up to you though. Katie, Tommy,
and the rest of us are going down to the beach for dinner on the grill,
and then a bon fire later that night.
You are more than welcome to join us.”
I smiled. “That would be awesome,” I said.

    Chapter 3
I woke up the next morning to a massive headache,
but other than that my head injury was fine.
I went downstairs to see if Dad had anything to eat in the kitchen.
He wasn’t awake, so I found some cereal and milk, and started making a cup of coffee for Dad.
I settled myself comfortably in one of the kitchen chairs,
and no more than five minutes later I hear Dad come downstairs.
“Smells like coffee in here,” he said groggily, rubbing his eyes.
I laughed, got up and poured him a cup.
For about ten minutes we sat at the kitchen table together, until he finished his coffee.
Then, he grabbed my empty cereal bowl, spoon, and his coffee cup and put them away in the dishwasher.
As he did this, he said, “I’m taking a couple weeks off of my job for the summer.”
“No Dad, you didn’t have to do that,” I argued back at him.
But he just shook his head and replied, “No, my job as your tour guide to South Carolina is much more important.”
We both laughed, and I went upstairs to get dressed.
When I came back down, Dad was saying everything that he planned on showing me this week.
Today he was going to take me to a dolphin show that will be at 2, today.
I had never been to a dolphin show before.
When we got there, people were already up in the stands, ready to watch the show.
When it finally started, a bunch of dolphin trainers wearing microphones came out. Then I heard a loud and familiar voice. I looked up and saw Blaise,
with his toothy grin and gorgeous blue eyes, leading the show.
I hope to have Chapter 4 up either later tonight or tomorrow :)

    Chapter 2
I blinked open my eyes to find Katie and all of her friends looking down at me.
The boy with the shaggy brown hair was pacing back and forth, rubbing his head, and didn’t seem to notice I was awake.
When Katie saw that I opened my eyes again, she exhaled with a sigh of relief.
“Faith, you scared us! Are you ok?”
My head hurt like crazy. “Yeah, I’ll be alright. How long was I out?” “About 5 minutes,” a boy with black hair replied.
“Oh and I’m Tommy, by the way.” I smiled up at him.
I attempted to stand up, but got extremely dizzy and almost fell back down again.
The boy who spiked the ball seemed to notice I was awake and ran to my side immediately.
“Faith, I’m so sorry. I didn’t know you were that close to the net.
Are you going to be ok? Does your head hurt?”
I gingerly touched my head, and a searing shot of pain came after.
I replied, “Don’t worry. I’m totally fine. But do you have an ice pack on you by any chance?” He smiled at me and said, “Come on, let me take you home.”
I was so dizzy, that I had to lean on him as we walked home.
Katie, Tommy, and everyone else insisted that they should help get me home too, but the boy said he should do it himself, since it was his fault anyway.
Once we got back to my dad’s house I said, “You know, I didn’t catch your name.”
“Oh, it’s Blaise,” he said with a smile, “You sure you’re gonna be alright?” I smiled, nodded, and said, “Thanks again. Will I ever see you sometime?”
He flashed a smile, and with his blue eyes twinkling he said,
“Of course! I have to make it up to you don’t I?”

    Chapter 1
I got off the plane with my suitcase rolling behind me.
I looked around for my dad midst the crowds of people moving every which way, trying to catch their flights. Finally, I found my dad waving at me.
I smiled and ran over to him.
He caught me in a big hug and said, “I’m so glad I got to spend the summer with you, Faith.”
I looked up at him and said, “Me too.”
He grabbed my suitcase and we both piled into his black pickup truck. I promised I would call my mom when I got to South Carolina,
so most of the car ride was me talking on my cell phone to my mom.
When we got to the house, he helped me get my suitcase into the house.
He was telling me that there’s a beach just a few miles down, if I wanted to go check it out.
I quickly changed into some shorts and a tee shirt and walked down to the beach.
I was gorgeous. The sand was white and there were picnic tables and volleyball nets set up.
Suddenly, I saw a white volleyball come flying at me. I caught it and saw a girl come jogging up to me. She had dark brown hair that was up in a high ponytail and was wearing a purple bikini.
She said, “Hey I’m so sorry about that. Nice catch by the way.” “Oh thanks,” I replied.
Then she asked, “Hey, do you want to join us in our game?” I shrugged. Why not? “Sure,” I said.
“Oh and by the way, I’m Katie,” she said. “Faith,” I replied as we walked over to the net.
“You can be on my team,” Katie said.
    ...
We were right in the middle of our game.
My team was winning, and a boy with shaggy light brown hair, jumped up and spiked the ball.
I didn’t notice coming at me it soon enough. It hit my head and I fell to the ground.
The last thing I remember was my head hitting the soft sand.
Sorry, it took me a while to post. I'll probably have Chapter 2 up tomorrow.

    Prologue
    I’m Faith.
I’m from Pennsylvania, but I’m here to stay with my dad for the summer in South Carolina.
People have always considered me as the brainiac at my school, so I was never super popular or anything like that. I got my varsity letter in swimming freshmen year, and haven’t stopped since.
I had a lifeguarding job for a couple of years, but I quit. I came down to see my dad mostly to check out colleges around here, and maybe earn some extra cash.
I am going to be working on scholarships all throughout the summer. I had no idea what I wanted to do career wise yet, so I was hoping that this trip might help me realize what kind of job to do.
I was pretty much your average senior, just out from high school.
I had a plan. I was setting myself up for success.
But that was all before I met him.

    Chapter 18
"Hey Liz. Would you like to take a stroll with me outside?" Luke asked.
I sighed and said, "Sure." What did I have to lose. When we got outside,
we were walking along the football field.
He offerred his hand, but I refused politely, gathering my dress in both my hands.
He broke the silence first by saying, "I wanted to apologize, Lizzy.
I was waiting for you after my basketball practice, and she came up and kissed me. I kissed her back.
I'm not going to deny it, but I have regretted doing that every moment of every day after that evening. Even being with Lindsey, I never got that same spark that came when I kissed you in the park last month. I don't deserve you at all.
But I just want to go back to being friends and talking, at least."
I sighed. I missed him too. "Alright," I said at last, and I saw Luke smiling. Then, out of no where, he hugged me. And I hugged him back. It felt so good to be in his arms again.
I let go first. "We should probably head on back to the gym." He smiled shook his head and said, "I know something better."
He grabbed my hand and in the middle of the empty football field, yanked me down onto the grass. He laid down and gestured for me to lay next to him. I smiled, rolled my eyes and laid down.
    Then I noticed the sky.
There were hundreds of stars out and not a cloud to be seen. I small gasp escaped my lips, and Luke looked at me and said, "I know right."
We laid there in silence for a while, and then I reached over to grab his hand. He turned and looked at me. I looked at him. And at the same time, we kissed each other. It was a small kiss, nothing huge, but it was still amazing all the same.
We broke apart, and I noticed the faint music coming from the gym.
I turmed my gaze back towards the stars, and smiled.
And hand in hand, in an empty football field,
we laid in the grass and watched the stars.

    Chapter 17
I looked at myself in my dress one last time before everyone was going to pick me up.
My hair was put up with a bunch of pins in a messy updo. I looked down at my black Converse sneakers and smiled. Claire and Shelby were against the whole sneaker thing, but I wore them anyway.
They were my favorite part of the whole outfit. I bit my lip, and applied some mascara on my eye lashes. I screwed the top back on the mascara tube and grabbed my purse.
I walked down stairs, and as soon as I got in the car, people scooted over to make room for me in the back.
Once we all got to the dance and gave the staff our tickets in,
I saw that the gym was completely transformed.
There were streamers everywhere. There were tables with white table cloths on them and a bouquets of roses everywhere. Glitter was all over the floor and there was a dj in the back with huge speakers. People were already out dancing.
I saw Lindsey dancing with some guy from my 5th hour. I hadn't seen Luke yet though.
I was looking around for him, when Claire took my hand and dragged me into the bathroom.
    The womens bathroom was packed.
There were girls everywhere touching up their eyeliner and putting on lipstick. I pretended to fix my hair, as I waited for Claire who was in one of the stalls. Me and Claire just had this thing that if one of us needed to go to the bathroom, the other one would have to come with us.
It's always been like that for us ever since we became friends in first grade and used the buddy system on the field trip to the local zoo.
Once we both came out of the bathroom, Claire went to go get some drinks.
I was about to follow her when I saw Luke walking towards me.

    Chapter 16
It was the day of the play.
I had everyone practice one last time before people started showing up. Drew, Luke, Brandon, Shelby, and Claire were going to be there too.
I looked at myself in the dressing room. I wasn't even in the play, but I was going out on stage with the rest of stage crew to take our bows.
I was fixing my hair when I heard fighting going on, on the other side of the thin cheap room dividers, that were set up so the boys couldn't see the girls changing in between costumes. I peeked on the other side to find Luke and Lindsey arguing.
They were so caught up in the argument that they didn't see me.
"Your mad at me because I didn't bring you flowers?! But I still came early to wish you good luck. I don't see what the big deal is." Luke said angrily.
"Molly got a huge boquet of flowers and a note wishing her goodluck from her boyfriend! Do you know how lame it will look that I didn't get any flowers! You know what, I want a boyfriend who will actually cares about me! We're done!" Luke was furious. I had never seen him so mad. "Fine!" he shouted. He turned around, walked out of the room, and slammed the door behind him.
I saw that Lindsey had gotten out her phone, and was calling a floral shop. I hid behind one of the mirrors as she walked across the room toward the exit, ordering flowers for herself.
    ...
The play was a success! I noticed that my parents came to the play and were cheering as I walked out on the stage with the rest of stage crew. I stepped out of the line, took a bow by myself, and went backstage again.
Josh came over and hugged me, telling me that I should direct next year for sure. He says he wants to try playing a role next year, instead of being a part of stage crew.
Claire, Shelby, Drew, and Brandon came up and hugged me too.
A bunch of people were around Lindsey, though. She didn't play the lead role, but a pretty big character so it was pretty expected that people would come up and congradulate her.
But I noticed that Luke was no where in sight.

    Chapter 15
"Ok, how do I look?" Shelby said as she stepped out of the dressing room, whereing a light blue, sparkly dress. Claire paused and thought about it for a moment and said, "Solid 7.6. What do you think, Lizzy?" I finished swallowing the soft pretzel I was eating and said, "7. I think the dark purple one looked better on you."
We were dress shopping at the mall. I didn't want to go. I the play was this Friday, and I had way to much to do. The dance was on the day after that. I didn't even want to go to this dance. Unfortunately though, Claire is the kind of person who doesn't take no for an answer, and eventually got me to go because she said she'd buy my lunch, while we were there. And I'm not really the kind of person that says no to free food.
"What do you think?" I asked. Shelby twirled around in it and said, "Well the light blue is more summery, plus it's cheaper so I think I'm going to get this one."
We walked up to the cash register and Shelby paid for her dress. Once we got outside the store, Shelby said, "Alright, we got both Claire and my dress. Now you." "What? No, I'm fine, really guys, I can find something in my closet somewhere." "Nonsense!" Shelby said, and before I could get another word in, she grabbed my hand and ran to the nearest dress store.
We eventually agreed on a strapless, dark grey dress for me. And after I bought it we went to the food court for some lunch.
I was eating my slice of cheese pizza, while Claire went over the schedule for the rest of the day. "Ok, so after this, I was thinking we would go find some shoes and finish up with accessories. The day of the dance we can go get our hair and nails done. I have a cupon from my salon, so we can use that." "Awesome!" Shelby said. "Sounds great," I replied. And we headed off on our shoe hunt.
Hey in case you were wondering, this is what Lizzy's dress for the dance looks like.

    Chapter 14
Me and Josh went to go get some ice cream at a local ice cream parlor. I invited Shelby, Claire, Drew, and Brandon to come as well. When we all finally got there, we took our spot in line.
Then I saw Luke come in. Lindsey wasn't with him. I whispered to Claire, "Who invited him?" Claire replied, "I think Drew did, is that a problem?" "No," I replied hastily, "I just thought he would be out with Lindsey right now."
Luke came over and I turned away before he could see me. He was talking to Brandon, Drew, and Josh when finally, it was our turn to order.
I found a booth large enough for everyone, sat down, and enjoyed my chocolate milkshake. Everyone else filed in around me once they got their ice cream. I heard Luke say something to me, but I just pretended that I didn't hear him.
Shelby and Brandon were sharing a dessert, and everyone teasing them about it. Shelby blushed and said, "Shut up guys, I forgot my money." Even though she had her purse with her, I didn't point it out to the rest of them. They were cute together. And last night he asked her to be her date to the dance. But that was just between me, her, and Claire of course. I caught Claire's eye, and laughed.
But then there it was. The dance.
I tried not to think about it as much as I could. I had no date, but I would just tag along with the rest of my friends. Me, Claire, and Shelby were going dress shopping tomorrow, but I really didn't want to go to this dance at all.
Seeing Luke and Lindsey there will make me want to cry, and I was not going to cry over some guy. Even though in my mind Luke was no ordinary guy.
But I told myself over and over again that he wasn't worth crying, and so far I've made it without shedding a tear. But it will be much harder not to at the dance.
But it looks like I will just have to figure that out when the time comes.
I know another short chapter. Sorry :/. I'll post again soon though

    Behind the Scenes
    Chapter 13
It was Monday, and now one week before the play.
I hadn't been getting much sleep lately, trying to fix up costumes, talk to stage crew, reherse with chorus, and all that drama. I've taken to studying in between Acts in the play for finals (exam's were just around the corner as well) then finally after all of this, I will be done and heading to Florida for a 3 week long vacation this summer.
And I was so ready to for a break. I thought that not seeing Luke for three weeks would do me some good.
It was lunch time and I was sitting with Claire, Shelby, Josh, Drew, and a bunch of other people. I was chewing some gum and working on my science homework, which was due next class. Drew was helping me with it, while finishing up his cheese and pepperoni pizza. "So where do you find the answer to number 18?" I asked while glancing at the clock, only seven more minutes left until lunch ended. Drew replied with his mouth full, "I think it was page 232, around the middle of the page." "Ok, thanks," I said. "No problem," he replied.
He finished his pizza, and went to throw out his trash with Josh and Shelby following close behind them. I shoved my homework in my bag and rushed to Science.
I was dodging past the crowds of people, when I saw Luke. I noticed him looking at me, even though he was holding Lindsey's hand. I quickly looked away and continued onto class.
After school, I was walking down the hall to the PAC. I grabbed a bag of potato chips from the vending machine on the way, and strolled onto the chaotic stage.
I grabbed a microphone and people stopped what they were doing to hear me. "Ok, today we are going from the top of page six to page twenty two. Be ready in ten." People were running across the stage, finding their scripts and reviewing their lines.
Props were being set up around me as Tessa, one of the actors, came up and said very out of breath, "Lizzy... do you have... an extra script... on you... just for today?" I always carried extra scripts for cases like this, and handed her one. "Thanks," she said, and ran off back stage.
The next two hours went by achingly slow, but when we finally finished practice, I took a big gulp of my water bottle and said, "Alright, tomorrrow we're doing the first half of the play. Be ready with costumes, makeup, and no scripts."
I waited, as usual, until everyone left, I grabbed my coat and Josh came up to me and said,
"Hey wanna go get something to eat?" We walked out towards the exit, and I replied,
    "That would be awesome!"

    Chapter 12
Luke sat down at our table and Lindsey sat next to him.
I refused to even look at him, I was scared to. I stared at my sprite, and listened to Ryan and Shelby's conversation on soccer. They both played on the team.
Then my phone vibrated. It was from Luke. It said, "Liz, we need to talk."
I furiously replied back, "Maybe I don't want to talk to you." I glanced up and saw Luke looking at his phone looking extremely annoyed.
He replied back, "Well, unfortunately you have no choice in the matter." And before I could reply back he stood up and "accidently" knocked my sprite off the table and it spilled all over the floor.
I was in pure shock. I didn't know what to say. Luke, pretending to look like it was a total accident, told me he'd go pay for another one.
And before I say anything, he grabbed my hand and dragged me over to the soda machine.
He got out his wallet as I said, "Really, Luke! You kiss me, go out with Lindsey, and now spill my pop!" Luke turned and looked at me.
He said, "I'm sorry, Lizzy." I was furious.
I shouted, "You don't mean that! Stop lying to me Luke. Actually, I think it would be better if you just stopped talking to me altogether." And before he could say anything,
I turned around and walked back to the table.
Sorry, short chapter :/. I'll be posting again soon though
