we lift 100+ girl into the air and through them and catch them . we do alot of hard work . we need to stay in shape . & to most cheerleaders its a sport. to me its a sport. Football is competitive , so is cheering . its not just about jumping around in a shirt yelling " go team " no its alot more than that and before you judge try it out for your self and then say its not a sport. Its also extrremly dangerous . If you catch the flyer wrong than they can get hurt. also, for experience you tend to get kicked in the face in your a front spot . and you get alot of bruises. So, cheering is a sport. try it before you judge.
