Girl’s hearts are broken by boys
Their hearts played around with as if they were toys
If I knew how this was going to end I wouldn’t have bothered
Should have listened when I was told so by my father
For now I’m crying all these unnecessary tears
Instead of having you protect me from all my fears
I long to hear your voice every night
Like I used to when you would tell me its going to be alright
Now I just sit and stare at a lifeless phone
Crying myself to sleep at night because I’m so alone
My nightmares are all becoming my reality
But from what I hear you don’t give a damn about me
So I’ll just sit here keeping this fake smile on my face
But behind the smile those tears will fall without a trace
Because I’m determined to not show how much you’ve hurt me

shouldnt care this much what you think
we're just friends or thats what i keep hearing
im freaking out about love or something that looks like it
tears roll down my face for someone they shouldnt
feeling neglected by someon whos just been a friend
someone who knows that from the start they wouldnt be committed.
you're a great friend so loyal true and faithful, everything a friend should be

for every scar that i have theres been a tear that has fallen because of it. whether emotional or physical all the tears are there to show. from a friend or family member theres a scar and tears to match.

look deep into her eyes when you talk about him. and tell me what you see. i'll tell you what you should see. deep in those crystal blues eyes you'll see it kills her, the pain and hurt in her eyes when you talk about him. you'll see her eyes start to water but the lashes wipe the tears away before they fall. so look again in her eyes and tell me what you see

holding on tight when you should be letting go. telling her you love her a girl you barely know. you say you know you'll both get your chance to be together saying you'd do anything for her. but what you dont know is she's in love with another. someone she hopes one day you'll consider a brother. she wants you to know she'll always be there to hold your hand but she knows theres a huge chance you my not understand.

all she's ever wanted. the three words she's wanted to hear truthfully from someone. her walls in ruins on the floor. her tears have turned into joyful ones. her cuts and brusies scabed over or healed. the only person she's thanking with love in return is you. sure there's scars that are there but there's only so much a man can do. she wants to wake up next to him everyday to turn to him and say 'i love you'
