I care too much how people see me at school since im quiet at school

Awhile ago a friend told me that the kid i like
said stuff about me to people...
I'm starting to wonder if that's even true,
considering how he said once
he wouldn't make fun of me
and wrote a whole sincere paragraph.
I'm so paranoid still about it though.

I hate when people tell me to move on. When you like someone a lot
and someone tells you that you need to learn how to move on
it feels horrible. By the way...I'm not moving on. Please just let me be.

Embarrassing story time
So, it was last year. I was at school. I had just come from Gym class. I was now early and waiting to go in my Math class. Well, I thought I was early. But, I saw my class-or so I thought-in there, so...walking into the class, I go to my teacher "Sorry I'm late". Well, the kids in the class look at each other like "What is she talking about?", Similar to the expression on my teacher's face. So, as I saw those kids react, I realized...Wait a minute...they don't look like the kids in my class. Uh oh...That was the moment I realized I had just walked into the class before mine-turns out I was early-and apologized for being late when I was actually like 4 minutes early. So, I kinda just awkwardly walked out of the classroom. I didn't know what else to do.
Moral of the story: Don't assume something's yours just because you see it there...
Is that an okay moral?
