I looked at your picture as the sadness washed over me,
And tried to remember when I was last happy.
But you’re just another boy who I won’t have,
Just another one who loves girls like her.
Girls who wear tight, short skirts
And wouldn’t be caught dead in baggy sweatpants,
A sweatshirt twice her size,
And a messy ponytail.
My finger touches your picture as I begin to cry,
It shouldn’t be this hard;
