I was stuck.
I was in this place, in between my future and my past,
and I wasn't sure which one I wanted more.
But I guess it was only normal, you know?
To dream of a summer love from long ago, or nights you spent with friends you used to know.
These people had long since gone, and part of you wanted them back,
and man you hated to admit it.
That was the funny part.
Like admitting you missed people or things
or times long ago made you weak or something.
And sometimes I would curl up by my window and stare off into the stars,
dreaming of my future, the love and friends I had yet to come.
Part of me just wanted to throw myself into the future
and the other part wanted me to hurl myself into my past.
Sucks.

Is she not so little anymore ?
Or is daddy not her's anymore ?
The girl who loved her dad so much, is gone.
She left when he acted like she didn't matter anymore.

She's a disaster.
She loses faith in herself every day.
Her life is a mess and she doesn't even care.
No one understands her.
And people say stuff to put her down and no one even notices that she might be breaking inside.
Or they never notice that maybe she needs a hug from someone.
Or someone to sit there with her and listen to her.
Maybe that's all she needs.
Maybe she just needs her bestfriend back.

Sometimes you just need to stop and look around,
Is she really beside you at the time you need her most,
Do you think she actually cares that she hurt you,
Did she apologize when she made you look like an idiot in front of your friends,
Probably not right, cause it was just a joke and you shouldn't take it to heart,
Its like you hate but love her to much to start a fight over what she does to you,
So you drop it. Just like she wants you too,
Its like you need to let her go but you just can't,
Shes your bestfriend - how are you suppose to do that,
Sometimes you just need to stop and look around,
