When Jess & her boyfriend's Five year anniversary was approaching, he cheats on her & gets a 16 year old girl pregnant . She was completely crushed . Stopped eating , couldn't sleep , the usual heartbreak stuff . I looked up to my sister . The gorgeous model , captain of the cheering team , in all honors classes , always happy . Use to be a model . She won pageants all the time . A lot of girls were jealous of her , she had no friends . Jess never bragged, Never thought she was better than anybody else . She didn't have anybody to tell that her boyfriend was abusing her . They were together for three years before anybody noticed . One day he picked her up from a friends house, it was winter . He was yelling at her for not calling him . She yelled back , I mean it was a stupid thing to be mad about . He grabbed her by the neck and pushed her back so hard that she fell into the snow. She told my mom about this , my mother refused for her to see him. But Jess was in love , & she was 18 . My mom had no say in anything . She continued to see him .

fell in love at age fifteen . Knew what pain was by age sixteen . Was living a nightmare by age seventeen . I think of the night of her prom, it was 2OO4 . She didn't have any friends over to take any pictures with her . She had him . I remember the look in her eyes . & when I look back to that night now, I know what she was thinking . "My family loves him, my family has no idea he's been abusing me . my family probably doesn't care . my family thinks I'm happy with him, & they will continue to think that ."
