"I'm going to try to run past you and you try to tackle me. You ready?"

"Yup."

"Okay on three," Adam crouched down and looked me in the eye. I stared back at him with sudden determination to drop him like he's hot.

He began to count. "One..."

"Three!" I yelled running towards him. I didn't surprise him as I wanted, he began to run immediately. I cut in front of him and he ran around me. I turned around and chased him. I took out my foot to trip him and he fell, and I grabbed him and began to tickle him. He began to laugh.

"Bella, stop! Please!"

"Looks like someone's ticklish!" I yelled. He pushed me off and pinned me to the grass. He looked down at me and grunted.

"Don't tickle me."

She tried to stop grinning as she closed her eyes and puckered her lips.
She could feel the warmth of him near her overheating her in the cold air.
Her heart was beating out of her chest.
But then, the heat began to fade, as if moving away from her
and her smile faltered.
She opened her eye, and her eyelid unleashed a tear
as she felt a wave of rejection.
