Song brings love
Chapter 2
It is Friday. I have about to hours till I meet Jack. We decided that we would have dinner by the town center because school ended late. My best friends, Ana and Allie come to my house. "YAY, you finally get a date with Jack!" "Its not a date", I remind Ana. "Whatever," Says Allie, "At least you can kiss...and maybe even more.. if you know what I me-" "Allie!!" I scream. "I have less than two hours to look good! Now help!" Allie and Ana go through my under drawers and pull out my pushup and a blue lace thongs. "Gosh guys," I say, "I am 16, and it is my first date." They just shrug and told me that they would make me look stunning. I pick up white short ripped denim shorts and put on a colorful sort-of cropped top to match. Anyway, I put on flipflpops and do my eyes with mascara, eyeliner and teal eyeshadow. I got my money and go.
The doorbell rigns so I get it. While I am running, my shirt goes up exposing my bra. I quickly pull it down when I see an amused look on Jack's face when he sees me openning the door. "Sorry!! I didn't mean to." I say. "It's fine." he says, "Now I owe you no shirt." I blush, then he stops and says "Sorry. I know you just want to be friends." I reply with a okay then and we set out for dinner.
We end up eating at the Italian place near the beach. It is really nice. At the end of dinner, I get out my wallet but Jack insists on paying. We walk along the beach and he brings out two note cards and tells us each to write what we are feelings. I feel bold and brave, so I decide to write how I feel about Jack. I write it down and we show eachother our cards. Jack's says...
"We have the same card!" We both lean in for a kiss. The kiss is magical. I have had lots of sleepovers with Jack before so we go to his house to spend the night. I text my family and tell them. Suddenly, out phones both beep.
It is a email from the music head. She realized that the 9th grade really wanted to do the musical so it is cancelled. Oh well, at least Jack and I are together. Then Jack says, "You know, that song from the musical, the Song brings love to us."
