-you sit in your towel after a shower because you're too lazy to get dressed.
-you and your bestfriend can say one word, and crack up.
-you hate when one string of you're hoodie is longer than the other.
-you hate it when people think you like someone when you clearly don't.
-you hate it when your favorite song comes on, as you pull into the driveway.
-you feel like if you turn on the lights, you will be safe from anything.
-you push those little buttons on the lids of fast-food drinks.
-you laugh until people get hurt, then stop when you realize it's serious.
-you hate it when parents get serious about something funny you tell them.
-you hate when you tell a guy to shut up and they copy you in a higher voice.
-you pretend to sleep when your parents come in.

Dear Daniel,
Hey buddy, Hows heaven treating you? Have you played Monopoly with Jesus yet? You always said you would if you died young. So i was curious. I miss you. Its not the same here without you here. I still havnt taken in that you are gone. I just cant. My heart has been aching. Its been two years now. Im an 8th grader. Can you believe that? It would be a lot easier if you were here by my side. Look im crying again.. I promised myself i would cry only for 20 minutes the hour you passed away. Do you think I could write this without letting a tear out of my eyes? One only brings more. Thats what you would always tell me. A lot of people have let go of the past. But I remember it like it was yesterday. When I was the one to stay with you until the end. .. I met someone that looks like you... It makes it hurt more.. I was with you until your hand on my cheek slipped .. before that happened you were yelling me to smile... and that you didnt want to die seeing a tear on my face. You wanted a smile.. But I couldnt smile.. seeing you bruised and lifeless. It hurt me so much.. But, your heart gave up.. you tried your hardest to stay with the people you loved.. But the hardest part.. was feeling your hand slip off my face onto your side. seeing your eyes close, and seeing your heartbeat on the moniter go blank. Me screaming that you didnt die. Me trying to wake you back up. Thinking of those memories make me cry more.. I let myself cry for today. Why did it have to be you? Why didnt you look both ways before continuing on the busy street? So many questions were left unanswered.. Well... ill go now.. I miss you so much.. im not letting go. i cant. remember that.. I love you bestfriend and miss you. I ll see you one day! Hopefully..
