Depression

To the people who don't have it.
They're luckier than they think.
Just like when you look at someone without control of their body.
You don't understand what they're going through.
But you're taught to feel bad for them.
But if you went a day in their life.
You'd finally understand.
And that's what depression feels like.
You wouldn't wish it onto anyone else.
But you wish they'd understand your pain.
It's not even something you can see.
It's like a tumor.
It's there.
And it's killing you.
But nobody knows you have it until you tell them.
And telling the people you care about.
Can be the hardest thing you ever do.
