...i never saw him agian.
but as we drove away as the sun was setting behind the thunder clouds,
marking the end of another day,the final ending point of our relationship,
on the verge of tears,as the rain started coming down i realized.just as
the sun would rise agian bringing with it a new and brighter day. as
the sky would clear and show a magnifacent rainbow.i would be okay.i
would be stronger once through the pain. and for once,i let my tears fall
with hope shining in my eyes.

My heart went crazy. He gave me that look – the one I missed so much. Then he flashed me that smile that I was longing to see since the moment he let me go. The smile that made me fall in love with him even more than I already was. It made me smile without even thinking. Even though all of those troubles were eating away at me and I haven’t felt happiness in so long… I was smiling. A genuine smile, not those fake ones I showed to my friends and family all the time. I tried, a countless amount of times, to tell myself that he wasn’t good enough for me and that he didn’t deserve me. The truth is, I always have loved him. Knowing that he loved me and lost interest so quickly crushed my heart, not to mention my self esteem… But there he was – standing in front of me. He hasn’t confronted me in weeks since the breakup. What was he standing there for? I told myself not to get my hopes up for anything because he tends to disappoint me more than I could ever imagine. But what he did next changed my life, my future… he reached his arm towards me and took my hand. The hand I missed so much. I stood there, dumbfounded for a bit… and I looked up at him straight into his eyes. He whispered, “I love you. I always have and I always will, no matter how much I tell myself I don’t. I can’t avoid you. I can’t stop thinking about you. I love our conversations and it kills me when they end so randomly. I can’t believe I met you and it amazes me how lucky I am that you really did love me back. I can’t go on without you… will you give me another chance?” That’s when I broke down. I cried. I thought he was gone. I wrapped my arms around him and held my face to his shoulder, the spot I missed so much. I then whispered,

everyone finds out
sooner or later what love really is. It's not true that teenagers can't know what love is.
anyone can be in love, 13 or 30. No, love is not texting all night and calling eachother baby names.
Love doesn't come after a day, a week, even a month. Love is not found when looking at someone's
face, but at their heart. You don't love that popular guy you obsess over. You'll love a guy with
obvious flaws that you think are adorable. You love a guy who you care more about than yourself.
Like when his dad lost his job, and you couldn't stop crying. When you went to his preformance
even when none of your friends did, always trying to be there for him.
when you had to make sure he was ok after breaking his arm
before you could sleep. You love a guy when you can see him with another girl and smile, because
you know he feels for her like you feel for him, so you want him to have that relationship. It's when
you don't give up on him after 4 years because you know there is something special about him.
He maybe has never liked you back, but you care about him anyways. Love is not giving up, ever.
It's when you just want him in your life, even if as just a friend. Its when you have a horrible day
and you come home smiling because he's happy, or you just pray that he is. Maybe none of your
friends will understand it. Maybe no one in the whole world will. But when you fall in love, you'll
know it.

and the largest spoon from the kitchen in the other
while wearing baggy sweat-pants + her favorite crappy t-shirt
she had her ipod in her ears listening to all time low

being in love is awesome.
it's just so exciting... those butterflies in your stomach, that wildly beating
heart, those weak knees... that urge to just... be with him! chances are,
every high schooler has been in love at least once by now. unfortunately,
it really doesn't last long. and we all have to learn that the hard way. i
wonder if love is any different. maybe you still feel those feelings, but
they aren't as strong. oh, and they last F O R E V E R .
