No Need For A Fairytale

she's no damsel in distress

so don't bother with the white horse
don't worry about happily ever after
she's no fan of fairytales
she isn't locked up in a tower
no witch has cost a spell on her
she doesn't envy Cinderella
she doesn't wanna be Snow White
she doesn't want to be somewhere else
she's just fine with where she's at
she knows her dreams and fantasies
so time is all she needs
so don't promise her a happy ending
cause all she'll do is pass
she won't take your promises literally
they've been broken in the past

she has no need for that
she's not wishing for a castle
who really want that
she is just fine with reality
because that's the place she's at
she doesn't need seven dwarfs
or henchmen after her
