   Chapter 15
   "Come on, watch your step!" I guided Taylor while she had a blindfold on. We stepped into Chloe's house and Taylor took the bandana off her eyes.
   "Surprise!" Everyone shouted. I could Taylor wasn't very shocked but she still had a smile on her face.
   "Aww thanks you guys!" She squealed and hugged everyone. I put a Happy Birthday tiara on her blonde head.
   We scattered around and talked to almost everyone. Then, I saw Colton. Great.
   "Chloe!" I said and ran over to her. "Why is Colton here? And is that Jenna!?"
   "Sorry! Some of the guys brought them along. I didn't know what to do!" She said innocently. I ignored them and tried to find Taylor, where ever she was.
   "Hey, Marisa!" I heard someone shout from behind and I turned around. "Your boyfriend is on the radio!" A random girl yelled and turned up the volumn.
   "Everyone else in the room can see it-" The music played. I giggled and went back looking for Taylor. I turned into the kitchen when I bumped into Colton. "Uh, sorry." I said.
   "It's okay." He said and I trailed off, but he grabbed my wrist. "Can we talk outside for a sec?" Ugh. I followed him into the backyard.
   "What do you want?"
   "Look, I miss you. A lot." He said. I rolled my eyes, he's pathetic.
   "Mhm, okay." I started to walk away but he grabbed me again.
   "I'm serious! I broke up with Jenna for you!" My eyes lid up. No one ever breaks up with her.
   "Well that's too bad. I'm unavailable." I retorted.
   "Well..." He trailed off and stared at me. I remember getting lost in his big brown eyes. But no, that's not happening again.
   "Well what?" There was a brief silence and we got closer and closer together...

   Chapter 13
   "Hey Marisa!" Some random girls said to me in the hallway.
   "Hi..." It's funny how I have talked to so many people today and I've never talked to them at all before.
   "Oh my gosh, can you get a video of Harry saying hi to me?" Another girl asked.
   "Um... well he's in New Zealand now. Sorry." I got a annoyed sometimes, but I guess this is what I'm going to have to get used to.
   "Class settle down and take your seats!" Mrs. Bryant told us. The only seat left was next to Colton, great. I opened the Mac to Safari and secretly went on Twitter. Since it was Tech Class, we have an excuse to go on the desktops.
   I scrolled through my Interactions and Mentions, I tried following some fans and replying to Tweets but there were so many.
   "What are you doing?" Colton asked leaning over my shoulder. I didn't answer. I scrolled through more tweets on the home page and a couple caught my eye. I opened the links that came with it. At this, my heart sank.
   Chloe, who was sitting next to me, must have saw the expression on my face. "Emily Ostilly?! Why are they kissing?!" She whispered. How could Harry be kissing her? We literally just got together two days ago.
   "I'm sure it doesn't mean anything. They were probably just... um..."
   "Making out!" I interrupted her. I quickly got up and took a bathroom pass. How could this happen? I guess it was to good to be true.

   Chapter 12
   "Thanks Harry. You don't know how much I hate them." I said getting into his car.
   "Anything for my favorite girl." He said and smiled.
   "You're so cheesy!" I giggled.
   "I know." He leaned in and kissed me on the cheek. I got the butterflies and I couldn't stop smiling on the way home.
   We got to my house and he walked me to my door. "When will you be back?" I sighed.
   "In a month." That was too long, but I knew it would have to happen. It was silent, then our lips touched, it couldn't have been more perfect.
   "So, are we like... official?" I asked nervously.
   "I guess you could say that, my lovely girlfriend." He winked. It couldn't be possible, but it was. Harry Styles was my boyfriend. Never in my life would I have thought of dating an international pop star. And the best part was, I knew he would never hurt me.
   "I should be going, I have some work to get done." He said holding my hand. We kissed for the last time and hugged.
   "I'll miss you." I said has he got in his car.
   "I'll miss you too, Marisa." He drove off and I ran inside to dial Taylor's number.

   Today, I get to miss school. But, honestly I rather go to school than go pick out a wedding cake. I don't even know why I'm being dragged along. "Mmm, that's delicious. What do you think?" Lucy asked me. I took a tiny bite of the red velvet cake, it was horrid.
   "Mmmm, so ba... good." I said ready to spit it out. Lucy and one of her friends continued to taste the rest of the flavors. Then, two teenage girls walked in the store. One had long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was tall and thin, maybe a little younger than me. The other had auburn hair, green eyes and loads of freckles. They saw me and I quickly turned away.
   "Oh my god! You're Harry's girlfriend!" One of the girls said. I turned around to see the blonde staring at me and the auburn girl shocked behind her.
   "Well, yeah." I said awkwardly.
   "Oh my god, can we have a picture with you!" The blonde said.
   "Sure." I said and stood up. I stood in between both of the girls while Lucy took the picture.
   "Thank you so much!" They both squealed and ran back with their family. That was weird. I took out my phone and opened twitter, I haven't been on since my birthday. Then I noticed I had over 500,000 followers...

   Chapter 11
   "Where to?" Harry asked as we slid into the car."I don't care." I replied awkwardly. "I have an idea. Wanna go to the boardwalk?""So you can get mobbed by fans? That place is packed.""That's a risk I'm willing to take." He said sarcastically and we drove to the boardwalk. When we got there, it was already crowded. As we approached the stairs that led up to the boardwalk, he took my hand - I got butterflies. We walked casually, trying to make it less obvious that Harry was walking around LA with a random girl."Oh my god! It's Harry Styles!" We heard a girl shout from behind us, oh great. We turned around to see five teenage girls staring in awe at Harry."Hello girls!" Harry said enthusiastically. Two girls asked for a picture with him, the other three got autographs. We saw more people coming our way so we tried to avoid it and walked in the other direction.Harry took me into a shop. He bought rollerblades, oh joy. We put our blades on and started skating down the boardwalk, of course people noticed we were holding hands."Watch this." Harry said letting loose of my hand. He sped wildly across the wood and I couldn't keep up."Harry wait!" I yelled. But he didn't here me. My feet were sore so I went to the bench to take the rollerblades off, but I was interrupted by a familiar voice... "Marisa?" I looked up to see Jenna standing with Colton. I shot up off of the bench."What are you doing here by yourself?""Oh I'm with--" I thought for a moment, she wouldn't believe me. "A friend.""Oh Taylor I'm guessing? You're only friend so, yeah." She said with a stupid smirk on her face."Actually..." I saw Harry coming up from behind Colton and Jenna. "I'm here with Harry." "Oh please Marisa, it's just stupid how you think--" she was interrupted."Hey, Marisa. You left me!" Harry said sarcastically and putting his arm around my waist. Jenna and Colton's eyes widened. "Actually you left me!" Harry glanced at Jenna and Colton. "Oh Harry, this is Jenna and Colton. Guys, this is Harry." Harry stuck is hand out for them too shake, Colton did. But, Jenna asked for a hug..."Oh my god! I love you and the rest of the band!" Jenna said sweetly. Ugh."Wait, Marisa? Is this the Jenna and Colton you've told me about? Oh, I've heard so many great.... things about you guys." He said. I smiled at him. Their smiles went to frowns, priceless. "We should be going, right hunny?""Okay, Harry." I said and he leaned in to kiss me. We scooted away and I watch Jenna's face go from pale to bright red.

   I woke up and went downstairs, got in my Mom's car and headed to our reservations. Today would hopefully be the perfect day, after all, it is my birthday. We pulled up to the Italian eatery and took our seats with the rest of my family. Mom, Lily, Tony, Uncle Scott, Aunt Ella, baby cousin Connor, Taylor, and even my dad who has been gone for over two weeks. He travels a lot because of his job, he was in Germany and got home last night. I ordered penne alla vodka and a Coca Cola - my favorite meal. I sat next to Taylor since I would have no one else to talk about One Direction with. I looked down at some tweets, most were about Liam being in Orlando with Danielle for the weekend. Some were about Harry being in LA, which is obviously not true - at least we're both 18 now! "So you heard about that Emily Ostilly girl right?" Taylor asked me, but I hardly heard because I was hoping Harry would wish me a happy birthday. "Marisa?""Hm?" I looked up."Nevermind." Taylor said and returned to her plate. Minutes later I was moved to the end of the table to light my candles on the cake my Dad bought. Everyone started singing happy birthday and I blew out my candles. My wish? Can't tell you or it won't come true. "Oh how I wish..." I started singing One Direction's I Wish. Then I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I stood up and turned around. "Yeah?" I was facing him, Harry. "Harry?""Happy birthday, Marisa!" He shouted and grinned. He hugged me tightly. I was shocked and happy he was here. "What are you doing here?" I asked him gleefully. "A couple reasons, one being for you." He said flirtatiously. "Want to go outside for a minute?" He asked. I nodded and he led the way out onto the parking lot. "I missed you." He said grabbing my hand."Missed you too." I smiled."We haven't talked in a couple days, but, I want to catch up.""Yeah of course." "And I was wondering if you want to hang out tomorrow before I leave again on Tuesday." He asked and stared into my eyes. "Okay, but not skydiving again please!" I said sarcastically and he chuckled. "Nah, how about bungee jumping." He said sarcastically. We laughed and talked some more until my Mom told me to come back to the table."See you tomorrow!" I yelled as some fans started to walk up to him. "Bye!" He said and turned to face the girls who were panicking. One of them looked like they were about to faint, I remember when that was me...

   A week has gone by since Harry and I hung out. he's back in Europe by now. We talk once in a while though. I heard some rumors that he's coming to LA in a few days, I don't know how true that is. And I don't even know what happened to us, we do use smiley faces and hearts in our conversations. But, we kissed and he left. I guess we have 'a thing' but I don't know what to call it. I've been wondering, was I just lucky or was it meant to be? I guess if it were meant to be, then he would come back. I told everyone what happened including our kiss. They finally believed me especially when I showed them the photos and video of us skydiving - that was insane. Today's Monday, the first day of spring break, thank God! I'm with Taylor and Chloe at the park nearby my house. I heard them gossiping while I was going through some of Harry's random tweets. "And then she was all like, 'go away!' Then I'm all like 'no!'" Taylor said to Chloe. I wasn't paying attention to the topic at all. "What do you think, Marisa?" Chloe asked."Um, total bitcch right there!" I didn't know what I was talking about, but it seemed to work. Then, I spotted Jenna and Colton on the other side of the park making out - typical. Colton, my ex, and I went out nearly for a year from sophomore to junior year. He made me feel great, until I caught him in bed with Jenna, which broke my heart. I cried myself to sleep for months, but I'm finally over it. Jenna gives me hell. I didn't do anything to her nor her friends. At camp in freshman year, we went hiking at Mount Williamson (the second tallest mountain peak in Cali). We were up there for 4 days. We were having a blast until Jenna and her friends ditched me and I got lost. Another time, I was at a party she happened to be at, and she locked me in the parents' bathroom. I never forgot what Harry said to me, "You're probably so popular huh?" I wince at the thought because its nearly the opposite. I swung back and forth on the swing set. I was with friends, but I still felt alone. I spotted Colton walk my way. He slowly walked up to me and I stopped swinging. "I heard you kissed someone." He said with no emotion."Yes." I said sourly. I always try to avoid him but he always finds a way to talk. "With that gay guy, right?" He replied."He's not gay, or he wouldn't have kissed me dumbshiit." I said repulsively. He had a stern look on his face."Why can't you just be nice, this is way everyone hates you." He said and walked away. I didn't bother me, I was just glad he left."Douche Bag!!" Taylor and Chloe yelled. I laughed with them and I knew he heard it. All I wanted at this point was to talk to Harry. He made me happy. One, because he was a celebrity. And two, he made me feel good. "If Harry doesn't come back, I know why." Taylor said. "You're younger!" This was true and it made me laugh. But, in about 5 days, I'd be the same age...

   I was extremely nervous and I'm surprised Harry didn't notice. I wanted to stop, but I didn't want to come on as a 'chicken' or something. We signed a few papers and Harry had to sign his name on my paper since I wasn't over 18.We got geared up and sat on the bench in the plane, "Scared?" He asked. "Nah..." I lied. The instructor took out her camera that she said she was going to use during the time we were actually diving. "1, 2, 3, Cheese!" She snapped a picture of us two together. I could tell Harry realized I was freaking out when he saw I was shaking. He leaned in and whispered in my ear, "Don't worry, I'm not gonna let anything happen." He said reassuringly. He made me much more calm. I felt all the tension in my shoulders release. I grinned at him and he winked. I couldn't have been any happier. We were 3500 feet above the landing site. The woman motioned for us to get up and walk toward the hatch. "You guys are a lovely couple!" She said taking yet another picture. Harry and I exchanged glances."Oh, we're just friends!" I said trying to let her hear me over the propellers. I felt embarrassed and I saw Harry blush. He put on his goggles and so did I."Ready?" He asked taking my hand. "Let's jump together." All of a sudden I felt the lady push us out of the plane. I felt like I couldn't breathe and I was scared out of my mind. I heard Harry screaming, but I was to focused on my own screaming. I turned to see the woman diving with us and snapping pictures and taking a video. Our parachutes released and we slowly drifted down to the ground. ~~~"As I said, that was amazing!" I beamed as we walked up to my front door. I looked down at the DVD and the photos that were taken. "I know, glad my first time was with you." He said flirtatiously. He put his copy of the disk and photos into the envelope. "I need to keep this memory safe.""When will I see you again?" I asked."Well, the Kid's Choice Awards are over. We leave to New York for SNL tomorrow. Then, its back to Europe." He explained. He started walking back to his car."Harry! Wait!" I said and ran up to him. I faced the ground as I approached him, "Keep in touch, okay?" I said. He looked at me with that sweet look in his eye. "You do good around here don't you? Being a beautiful girl and all. You're probably so popular huh?" He said winking. "Well, I wouldn't say that. I mean--" He cut me off and kissed me, I couldn't help but to kiss him back.

    Chapter 7
    I took out my keys and opened the door to my house. I ran upstairs and I noticed it was already 3:30. No time to spare. I decided to put on another outfit since it was steaming hot outside. I put on baby blue shorts and a fringe tank with the British flag on it, ironic. I put on a pair of gladiator sandals to match. I shook my light brown hair into smooth waves.All of a sudden, I heard a loud thump against my bedroom window. I crept out of my bathroom to inspect it. Then I saw a pebble slam against it. I was startled and opened the window. I peeked out and saw that it was Harry. "What are you doing?!" I asked giggling."I'm throwing rocks at your window what the hell does it look like I'm doing?" He yelled sarcastically. His accent was adorable."I'll be right down." I said and closed the window. I grabbed my phone and raced down stairs. I opened the front door to see Harry standing there, which scared me. He pulled out a rose from behind his back. I took it and smiled, "Thanks but, I don't like roses." I said jokingly. We walked to his car and he opened my door for me. "Where are we going?" I asked as he settled in the front seat. "You'll see." He said. Very cliché, the old surprise thing. We drove pretty far and the sky was still a bright blue, the sun was out, and the air was cleaner than ever. We stopped at a place that seemed to be very familiar. "Remind you of anything?" Harry said as we walked out of the car. "Uh... yeah. A beach." I said resting my feet in the sand."Not just a beach, the beach!" He said. "You know, where we filmed What Makes You Beautiful!" I should have known, I've only seen the video about one hundred times. But, I've been here before. I guess it was special since I was with Harry Styles. We walked along the shoreline, until he pushed me in. I got up gasping for air. "Harry! You're dead! I said running to him. Eventually I was able to catch up to him and push him in myself. ~~~ "You had fun I see." Harry said when we were in the car again drying off."You know that's typical." I said. "The whole beach thing, pushing the girl in the water." I said cleverly."Yeah well... I guess I'm not a very original person." He laughed. We continued to talk on the ride home, the sun still shining at 5 pm. He turned onto a street that was unfamiliar to me. We pulled into an empty field. The only things there were a small shack, a mini runway, and two jets. He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the car. As we got closer to the shack, I saw the sign.     Chapter 5
    "I love it. So, what do you guys think?" My sister Lily asked facing the mirror in the shop. She was wearing a long white strapless gown. It had a little floral pattern along the hem and it hugged her body then flowed perfectly passed her waist. "Beautiful! That's the one!" Mom said amazed. "So pretty!" Taylor said enthusiastically. Mom said I could bring her so I wouldn't be bored shopping for Lily's wedding dress. The wedding is in less then 2 months. Lily is extremely nervous but I don't see what for. I honestly don't believe she actually loves the guy. She says she does but I can tell that its forced. Everyone faced me waiting for my answer, "Its... cute." I said not really impressed. I don't know why I was being so sour, it was a gorgeous dress but I don't care. I saw Mom give me a dirty look. "Maybe it isn't that great." Lily said and sighed. She went back into the dressing room with a couple of the brides maids. I pulled out my phone and my headphones. Taylor and I watched the video from last night over and over again. I crack up each time. I opened up Twitter and uploaded the video, I tagged each of the boys even though they probably wouldn't see it. I locked my phone and hoped for the best. ~~~Taylor and I went to the Starbucks next door. I got a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappe while Taylor got a Strawberry N' Cream Smoothie. We sat down at one of the tables in the back of the place. "I'm still jealous." Taylor said sipping her smoothie. "Hey, that's what you get for ditching me." I replied. "I know, whatever. It's still funny how you thought you weren't going to meet them. Look who was wrong for once." Taylor laughed without humor. If you don't know by now, we are talking about what happened last night. I'm still shocked about that. I honestly didn't think it could happen. I wish Harry asked me for my number. But, it was to good to be true. They obviously weren't talking about me. Suddenly, my phone vibrated. It was a notification from Twitter. I typed in my password and waited for Twitter to load. I saw Taylor eyeing me, "May I help you?" I giggled. "Who is it?" She asked curiously. I went to me interactions and saw that 20 people Retweeted and 15 people Faved my video. I scrolled through the people and came across one in particular, Harry had retweeted my video. My heart stopped. Taylor's eyes widened. "Ok, not a big deal." I said trying not to freak. Taylor came on my side of the table and peeked over my shoulder. I scrolled through a little more and saw that HARRY replied and followed me! "Hah I didn't realize you were filming! Nice meeting you :) xx." His reply said. We screamed on the top of our lungs and the cashier looked at us funny. I know its nothing special but it's kind of unheard of. Then I got another notification, it was a Direct Message from Harry.

    Chapter 4
    Niall, Liam, Harry and I walked through a series of curtains and wires. Harry was still clutching my wrist, I wanted to scream out of excitement. Then we stopped onto a hard black floor. I turned around to see I was standing on an enormous stage. The lights were still on shining brightly upon the boys and me. I couldn't believe where I was. Although no one was in the audience, I got the butterflies and a cold sweat. I heard the boys behind me wrestling like idiots. I turned around to see Harry on the floor, with his underwear showing, and Liam sitting on top of him. The were rolling on the floor and it looked really funny so all I could do was laugh. Niall was trying to pull them apart but I didn't want him to, they were so adorable. I turned back around to admire the scenery in the arena. Then I felt someone nudge me in the back, "BOO!!" Someone yelled. I jumped and I was startled. It was Louis Tomlinson... "Hello there! I'm Louis!" He said and shook my hand."Hi, I'm Marisa," I giggled, "You're so talented! It's an honor to meet you." I said awkwardly. He smiled and then Zayn came up behind him. He introduced himself to meet and gave me a hug. Harry came up to me and offered me a slice of pizza, "No thanks." I said, I wasn't very hungry. I took out my phone and started recording the whole thing. "Hey Niall?" He turned around to respond."Yeah?" He asked looking at the camera. "Can you say hi to Taylor for me?" I asked pleadingly so Taylor wouldn't be mad that she wasn't with me. "Hi Taylor!!" He shouted on the top of his lungs. I continued to record and got a shot of the boys talking and dancing. I turned the camera off because it was getting awkward. I looked at my phone again and saw that it was already 10. I looked up and put my phone in my back pocket. From the corner of my eye I saw Harry and Zayn whispering and staring at me. "Yeah she's cute." I heard Zayn say. Who? "Should I got her digits?" Harry asked Zayn. Were they talking about me? They couldn't have. What should I do, give him my number?! I got lost in my thoughts but then the floated away as Liam came up to me. "Hey, how old are you?" He asked out of the blue. "17." I replied. "Turning 18 in two weeks." "Oh nice! Happy early birthday!" Liam said smiling, "Are you from here?" "Yeah I live on the other side of town." I said. We continued to talk about one another, even though I probably already knew enough about him. Time went by and it was 10:30. I knew I had to leave. The boys walked me outside to find Taylor since it was dark. I figured she'd be in the car and it was the only one left. The hood was down and I saw her laying down in the front seat. The boys were following me from behind. "Taylor?" I asked waiting for her attention. She shot up like she's been asleep. The album was playing from the cd player and it was on low volume. I turned around the boys were giggling."Where have you been? I've been waiting for and hour and a half! You--" She stopped when she saw who was behind me. "Who are they?" She asked not having any recollection of what was going on. The boys laughed."Um, Taylor. This is Liam, Louis, Niall, Zayn, and Harry. Guys, this is Taylor." I said. The boys gave a quick hi and slightly waved. Taylor got out of the car and was in complete shock. The boys hugged her and Niall signed her shirt because she's madly in love with him. We hopped in the car, said some goodbyes and watched the boys run back to their tour bus. I told Taylor everything that happened on the way to her house since I was sleeping over. All of this had to be a dream...

    "Ow, my nose!" I said holding my nose. The shoulder I crashed into was very boney and I'm lucky I don't have a nose bleed. "Sorry! Are you alright?" The boy asked. I was still holding my nose, facing down at the ground. I lifted my head, my eyes were looking into a pair of green ones. "Harry Styles?!" I asked in disbelief. I stared at him for about 30 seconds. "Uh, yeah." He said shrugging his shoulders. He smirked a little bit but I could tell he felt awkward. "Oh, well I'm Marisa." I said. His expression was blank and I couldn't tell what he was thinking. He simply stuck out his hand and I shook it, "I'm Harold." He said smiling. "May I ask how you got back here?""Well uh..." My mind went blank. I was having a conversation with Harry Styles! "You see, my friend and I really love you guys and we wanted to see if we could get anything out of waiting outside the entire night and--" He interrupted me. "Oh I see." He said. He took out a pen from his pocket and walked closer to me. He took his pen and moved it to my forehead, I backed away. "What are you doing?" I asked uncertain. "Well, wouldn't you like an autograph?" He said casually. "Sure..." I said trying not to freak out. He gently scribbled his pen on my forehead. I am never washing my head again. "Thanks so much!" I smiled brightly. "Anything for a dedicated fan." He said with a wink. Then someone shoved him in the back. It was Liam Payne. "Do you want a slice of pizza?" He asked on the phone. Harry nodded his head and held up three fingers as if that's how many he wanted. "Oh, hello!" Liam said to me. I stood there not knowing what to say, "Oh, h-hi." "Liam, this is Marisa." Harry said. "Hi Marisa!" Liam smiled at me. "I see you got an autograph." He said staring at my forehead."Yep!" Harry laughed. Then my phone blasted, the ringtone was Stand Up - my favorite song on the album. I blushed, it was Taylor. "Sorry, I need to take this." I said quickly answering it. "What Tay?" I answered quietly. "Where are you? I'm outside!" She yelled into the phone. The boys looked at me blankly."Hold on please! I'm with people." I said trying not to make it obvious so she won't freak out. Then I heard Harry laughing and squealing. "Niall! Stop tickling me! It's my pizza!" He screamed very loud. "Who was that?" Taylor asked through the phone, "Did someone just say Niall? Who are you with?" I was panicking and Harry was backing up into me, "Uh Harry!" I yelled at him. I talked back to Taylor, "Um, I'm with--" all of a sudden my ear pressed up against the speaker button on my iPhone. I heard Taylor ask me what was going on, but I was distracted by Harry falling on the floor. I laughed so hard. Then I remembered Taylor was listening. "ARE YOU WITH THEM?!" She yelled. It got silent and Niall, Liam, and Harry looked at me. "Umm, I'll call you back, K?" I said and hung up the phone. Liam and Niall went into another room. Harry grabbed my arm and took me with him.
