Listen, high school is really something that you should just go with and not worry about it. I was a bit worried too, but there's no need to be. First of all, it's pretty much like middle school but in a different building with some different kids. Remember that all the freshmen are new and you're not the only one who might get lost or forget your locker combo or something. Everyone's looking out for you, and if you need help, go right ahead and ask a teacher or even an upperclassman for it. If you have friends going to the same school, maybe carpool there so you have someone to walk in with... it's kind of comforting. Don't be overwhelmed, and remember that you are a confident girl who is about to start a new chapter of her life and she is going to have fun doing it.

It might seem really hard right now, but in a little bit, you're going to realize that you are much better off without her. True best friends don't do that to each other, and I'm sure that you'll realize that soon, even though it may be hard to see that right now. And I know that it's difficult when someone points out your flaws (trust me, I know first hand) but you need to realize that your flaws are what makes you, you and if she can't handle them, then she doesn't deserve you. Feel free to talk to me, I have a lot of experience with this situation.

I FEEL YOU GIRL. and a lot of the christians that i've met, or that go to my youth group are the ones to start drama and rumors and things, so i really hate being around them.

OH MY FRICKIN' GAWD. I know right! Its like they are the ones that do stuff. I mean, there's probably a youth group thing out there that is fun. But, I have yet to find it. Youth events are pretty okay for the most part. But STILL it's not completely alright.. *shrugs* oh well...

Ugh i feel exactly the same way. I hate how people are so judgemental in church and i hate my youth group because all we do is play dodgeball as if we're in gym class

Like gosh, all they wanna do is talk about how you need to hang around the 'right crowd of friends' yet they're over there telling us how we need to 'minister' to other people. Like. Puh-leeze, I'm not just gonna go up to someone and go. 'GET YOUR LIFE RIGHT!' You have to get people to trust you, you have to be friends with people before they wanna have anything to do with the god we believe in. Aaand all that crap. Most youth group is just around, or listening to boring messages. *shruggs*

I literally felt exactly like that all week, but then yesterday I told myself... I do have friends. They're not ignoring me... I'm ignoring them. My family cares about me, and so does everyone else. And then I saw a quote: "I am in charge of how I feel today, and today I am choosing happiness." And I got on with my day, because even though I felt like that at first, I didn't anymore. You are no waste of space. You have people that care about you, whether they tease you or save you dinner or not.

Politically, gay marriage should be legal because the government is secular, and does not revolve around just one religion's views. I'm a christian but I'm not really sure exactly where I stand with this issue, but kudos to you for having the guts to post this even if I'm not sure I agree with it.
