   Holding On
   part two
   John and Jane walked down the halls to their first class holding hands. John was in front of her, trying to hide her from the boys who were checking her out. It was then that Jane's best friend, Lacey, noticed that they were perfect for each other. Jane looked at Lacey and smiled. She smiled back and gave her thumbs up. Lacey was one of Jane's only friends. Come to think of it, Jane only has two friends in this school, Lacey and Amy. John, however, was friends with the whole senior class.
   So finally they arrived at the gymnasium. Jane went into the girls locker room and dropped her things. She went back out to see John out of breath and already into his gym clothes. She smiled and said, 'How did you do that so fast?' He replied, 'I have my ways.' Jane smiled. He started to lean in. Jane couldn't believe it, but she closed her eyes and leaned back, they almost touched lips, but the gym teacher, Mr. Deko, blew the wistle and interrupted. They both opened their eyes and looked away, John said he'd see her after class and walked into the gym. Jane went oer to the bleachers with the other girls.

   part one
   Jane walked down the halls to her locker. She looked more beautiful than ever, her hair was perfectly straightened and her make-up was done just right. She was dressed in her cute purple v-neck with a white tank top under it. She had on the cutest skinny jeans. As she walked down the halls, everyone stared in awe. She never looked like that, she was the geek of the school last year. However, this was her year. She spent her summer talking to the most popular boy in high school, John Boothe.He was the captain of the football team and played two other sports, basketball and hockey. He was the boy that all the girls loved. But he didn't love them back, he loved Jane. He didn't tell. He kept it to himself. But today.. today was different. So he saw Jane at her locker, quiet as always, and he approached her. She was shocked, even though they spent their summer summer together. She looked at him and said, ' I thought you didn't want anyone to know abou.. ' He interrupted, ' I didn't, but then I looked at you today. ' She smiled. But it wasn't just any smile, it was a beautiful, white smile, that can light up a room. It was the smile that everyone loved to see, however, it was a smile that only came once every so often. John smiled back and carried her bag to the first class. They had Gym first period together. Her worst class, and his favorite. However, Jane couldn't wait..
