   We took a school survey yesterday.
   One of the questions was
   "In the past 12 months have you seriously thought about killing yourself?"
   Last year I never would've imagined I'd have to click "yes" for that question.

   Then all I could think about was you. I don't know why, but that stopped me.

   She Almost Did It.
   She was sitting in the middle of her bed.
   Tossing the bottle of pills between her hands.
   The goodbye letter she'd written was next to her.
   She took a deep breath and went to open the bottle.
   Her phone vibrated & she jumped.
   It was a text from her best friend.
   "I Love You So Much!"
   How can I do this to her? She thought.
   She wiped the tears from her eyes.
   Put the pills back in the medicine cabinet.
   Ripped up the letter, threw it in the trash.
   And headed to her best friend's house.
   They stood hugging for a long time.
   It was almost as if her best friend had known the whole time.

   I could give a speech about cells.
   I could solve a long math problem.
   I could write a 50 page book report.
   I could tell you tons about the Titanic.
   I could tell you a lot about Ancient Egypt.
   I could tell you about the Greek gods & goddesses.
   I could write out the lyrics to all my favorite songs.
   I could read a 500 page book in a day.
   I could tell you the difference between eukaryotic & prokaryotic.
   But something I could not do is explain how much you
