Love Story
Its midnight, and I'm lying in my bed, thinking of nothing but you. I can't even nap since you stepped into my life. Everytime I hear a car, I think, what if that was him, coming to pick me up for a moonlight date. But everytime, my heart fails. I begin losing my hope in you. Everytime I see you, it feels like someone is slitting my throat. I want to ask you out, but what good is that? You are the kind who yells out NO if you say no. So I'll stick to watching you. Maybe in years I'll have you, maybe you will fall in love with me. But my faith is beggining to fade. But then, I see you are slowly falling in love with me.
Month 1:
you walk by and say hi, everytime you see me.
month 2:
We are starting to hang out a little bit. Are we beggining to be friends?
month 3:
I couldn't say we could ever be better friends. You're the best. But my heart still aches.
Month 4:
I think your falling in love with me, but I can never say.
Month 5:
Same old, plain old, nothing exciting.
Month 6:
you asked me out.
We are in love. Nothing will change. We are together. It will never be the same. You are one, one and only. How glad I am that I did wait. :)
6 months is all it takes. Wait, its not so bad.
