I feel. I think. I dream. I believe. I hurt. I love. I wish. I lie. I desire.

I have securities but am insecure. I'm judgmental and yet have no right to pass judgments. I have hope but I'm hopeless. I have causes for happiness and yet I'm constantly sad. I unknowingly contradict myself. I've been trying to put the pieces together for years and nothing feels to have placed itself correctly. I'm good with words but better with actions. I've probably given you advice that I haven't come to accept myself. I thrive on the thought that someday I won't think so much and it will all make sense and things will be okay. People think I'm smarter than I really am. People think I'm more confident than I really am. I’ve accepted the fact that nobody can change another person. I’m aware of my heartbeat and the fact that it won’t last forever. For that reason, I try to make the best out of every situation I encounter. I love meeting people, but I'd probably never approach you for fear of immediate rejection. I have the backs of everyone who has ever made an impression on me; family, friends, acquaintances included. I catch the clock at 11:11 more than anyone I know, and though the majority of my wishes don’t come true, I continue to wish. I won’t hold your hand unless I’m comfortable with you. I'll probably give you more chances than you deserve. I hate the thought of hurting someone else and have notoriously blamed myself for things I wasn’t guilty of just so that other people wouldn’t have to be upset. I’m working on improving what I just said in the aforementioned sentence. I like when people aren’t afraid to show emotion. I like to think that everything happens for a reason and that the big man upstairs has everything in control a lot better than I do.

I believe that everything happens for a reason.
People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so
that you appreciate them when they’re right, you believe lies so you eventually
learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so
better things can fall together.
